Wonder Woman Set Pics & Video

The reaction to the first look at Adrianne Palicki as Wonder Woman (as seen above) was overall a big "meh". Not because Adrianne looked bad in a skin tight costume, even fanboys can't be that blind. Can they? It was because the colors and look were a little off from what the basement dwellers knew to be Wonder Woman. Even looked a little bit off to me and I could care less about how faithful it is or isn't to the comics.

Apparently the powers that be listened to the whining and adjusted the colors and the look to better relate it to the comics. See below for the final version

    "Warrior" Character Posters

In the Gavin O'Connor-directed action drama, opening September 9, two brothers face the fight of a lifetime – and the wreckage of their broken family – within the brutal, high-stakes world of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighting.

An ex-Marine haunted by a tragic past, Tommy Riordan returns to his hometown of Pittsburgh and enlists his father, a recovered alcoholic and his former coach, to train him for an MMA tournament awarding the biggest purse in the history of the sport. As Tommy blazes a violent path towards the title prize, his brother, Brendan, a former MMA fighter unable to make ends meet as a public school teacher, returns to the amateur ring to provide for his family. Even though years have passed, recriminations and past betrayals keep Brendan bitterly estranged from both Tommy and his father.

But when Brendan's unlikely rise as an underdog sets him on a collision course with Tommy, the two brothers must finally confront the forces that tore them apart, all the while waging the most intense, winner-takes-all battle of their lives.

The House From "Up" Really Exists!

As I have mentioned many a time during my articles, I am a sucker for those CG Animated features. I love every one of them big or small. "UP" is one of my favorites out of the plethora of them which have dropped in theaters, a movie featuring a house floating with the help of a large number of balloons. How can you beat that. Apparently National Geographic can, because they did it for real.

An episode of the upcoming new Fall show titled "How Hard Can It Be" will explore whether or not it is actually possible to use balloons to propel a house into the stratosphere. From the photos, it is! On March 5th a group featuring two balloon pilots, scientists, and engineers used 300 8' weather balloons in a myriad of colors to force a 16 x 16 inch house into the sky.

"Footprints" Opening April 15, 2011 In NYC & LA

Award-winning writer Steven Peros, author of the play and screenplay for The Cat’s Meow (directed by Peter Bogdanovich) and twice-published Samuel French playwright, comes FOOTPRINTS, a haunting, hopeful and unforgettable mystery. The film chronicles a young woman’s journey of discovery in one day, from sunrise to sunset.

Sybil Temtchine (Ten Benny, Passion of Ayn Rand) stars as a young woman who wakes up at dawn on the footprints and handprints of the famed Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood with no idea who she or how she got there.  Upon awakening, she wonders if she isn’t, in fact, lost in a dream.  And perhaps she is…

Regardless of whether she is dreaming or wide awake, Our Gal sets off on her journey, from one person to the next, one famous locale after the other. Among the Hollywood fringe denizens with whom she comes into contact are a pair of tour guides (Charley Rossman, John Brickner), two super hero impersonators (Catherine Bruhier, Riley Weston), a Scientology auditor (Joe Roseto), and a memorabilia shop owner (R.J. Cantu). She also finds herself disquietingly followed by a Stranger (Kirk Bovill) who may be real or a figment of her unsteady imagination.

Although her feet only fleetingly leave Hollywood Boulevard, by sundown Our Gal will piece together the revelatory truth about her existence and the reason for her awakening, forcing her to make choices that will literally result in either her life… or death.

In their heart-breaking portrayals of two veterans of the boulevard and all it represents, FOOTPRINTS marks the return to the big screen of The Searchers’ Pippa Scott and H. M. Wynant (The Twilight Zone, Sam Fuller’s Run of the Arrow, Budd Boetticher’s Decision at Sundown).

    Two More "Green Lantern" Images

I really don't consider this newsworthy but it is still worth a look. In addition to the interview with Ryan Reynolds, Empire has two new photos from the upcoming space adventure. We get Hal and Carol having drinks at a bar and another of Hal alone looking hesitant to pace the ring on his finger. It's okay Hal, that one doesn't mean you're getting married.
