Empire's December issue offers up a choice of two covers, one featuring Batman and the other featuring Bane, as part of their feature article on 2012's most anticipated movie.
Personally I prefer the Batman one as it's more dramatically posed, the question is what is that he's aiming?
Two more international posters have popped as the sequels release draws to within a month of release. The first poster is a standard Holmes & Watson poster, however the second takes character posters to a new level!
When the trailer dropped last week it was undoubtedly the most surprising trailer I've seen in a long time, it totally sold me on this movie, and now ET has two behind the scenes features, one with Charlize Theron and the other with Chris Hemsworth and Snow White herself Kristen Stewart.
Comingsoon.net has got a new featurette up courtesy of Warner Bros: Pictures for one of the two big Christmas holiday releases.
So far the marketing has focused mainly on the comedy elements, big explosions and slow mo overkill, as opposed to an intriguing mystery featuring Holmes' legendary nemesis Professor Moriarty, hopefully the movie itself will not do the same.
Jill Parrish comes home from working the night shift to discover that her sister Molly has disappeared. Jill is convinced that Molly has been abducted by the same serial killer from whom Jill escaped the year before and that by sundown Molly will be dead. The police think Jill is crazy, so she sets out alone to rescue her. Is Jill mentally ill, merely chasing shadows, or will she find Molly before it's too late?
I'm not sure how big of a role the character Sherlock Holmes refers to simply as "The woman" has in the new movie, but Cine1.com has gotten hold of an international character poster for her.
I thought Rachel McAdams did a great job with the slightly revamped character in the first movie, so hopefully her role will be a little bit more than a cameo in the sequel.
I'm a big fan of Pixar's work but this trailer for "Brave" does not really entice me. I'm not sure what it is but there isn't a character that really grabs me.
Since ancient times, stories of epic battles and mystical legends have been passed through the generations across the rugged and mysterious Highlands of Scotland. In Brave, a new tale joins the lore when the courageous Merida (voice of Kelly Macdonald) confronts tradition, destiny and the fiercest of beasts. Merida is a skilled archer and impetuous daughter of King Fergus (voice of Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (voice of Emma Thompson). Determined to carve her own path in life, Merida defies an age-old custom sacred to the uproarious lords of the land: massive Lord MacGuffin (voice of Kevin McKidd), surly Lord Macintosh (voice of Craig Ferguson) and cantankerous Lord Dingwall (voice of Robbie Coltrane).
Merida’s actions inadvertently unleash chaos and fury in the kingdom, and when she turns to an eccentric old Witch (voice of Julie Walters) for help, she is granted an ill-fated wish. The ensuing peril forces Merida to discover the meaning of true bravery in order to undo a beastly curse before it’s too late. Directed by Mark Andrews and Brenda Chapman, and produced by Katherine Sarafian, "Brave" is a grand adventure full of heart, memorable characters and the signature Pixar humor enjoyed by audiences of all ages. The film takes aim at theaters on June 22, 2012, and will be presented in Disney Digital 3D™ in select theaters.
A crew of African American pilots in the Tuskegee training program, having faced segregation while kept mostly on the ground during World War II, are called into duty under the guidance of Col. A.J. Bullard.
Like Jamie I was blown away by the trailer for this movie that dropped last night, as was most of the internet from what I've read, and here are 4 posters released by Universal, to go with it.
Smell that? it's the 80's wafting through this new trailer for Jason Statham actioner 'Safe', and it smells GOOOOOOOD! The voice over man is back, baddies get whooped and it looks like we may even see the softer side of the Stath as he protects a little girl with a photographic memory who has an important code, from all manner of villainous scum.
