Final Sherlock Holmes: Game Of Shadows Poster

Just over two weeks out and Yahoo! Movies have the final poster for the highly anticipated sequel. Personally I like it, Holmes and Watson in foggy London is very iconic.

Here at TMT we are at our core a bunch of movie fans, so when a fellow movie fan has a go at actually making a movie I take an interest.
Below is a brief sysnopsis and the short itself, the story is socially relevant and well wriiten and acted. It's worth 10 minutes of your time in my view.
* Note, it contains some strong language.
A desperate adolescent girl tries to find acceptance from her family and friends regarding her sexuality.
I really liked the trailer for this, but none of the fun or flair present in it are visible in the poster design which looks like a GQ cover, and the stills couldn't be less dynamic if they tried.
The film centers on two CIA agents (Hardy and Pine) who fall for the same woman (Witherspoon) and decide on a "best man wins" contest, they then go about trying to sabotage each others attempts to romance her using their CIA training and resources.
If you watch this hit FX show you'll know it's one of the best on TV. US Marshal Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) has more badass swagger than any cop since Dirty Harry, and his childhood friend turned some times nemesis Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins) is one of the most complex characters on any show.
This promo really whets the appetite for the 3rd season, taking you in one direction before closing out with a twist that gets the adrenaline going.
ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: So tell me about these White Apes in your film. They’re from the books, but I recall they’re not quite this ginormous?
ANDREW STANTON: No, they’re sort of an oversized gorilla in the books, and they’re kind of ubiquitous. They’re littered everywhere through at least the first several novels. They were always cool, just from a visceral standpoint, [but] they don’t really have a narrative function in the first book. So what we did is we made the White Apes a formidable creature that you kind of hear about throughout the movie, but you never really witness. There’s a subtle sense of anticipation for what these things might be like. Then Michael Kutsche — who did a lot of the designs on [the Johnny Depp movie] Alice in Wonderland – came up with this design on his own, for just their scale. He made them nocturnal, almost like moles — they stopped using their eyes, and just had a heightened sense of smell. We just love that. We needed a scene where Carter was going have to get out of his execution sentence in order to move the story forward, and we thought what better than having to go up against this formidable creature?
EW: How has John Carter come to find himself in this predicament?
AS: I don’t want to give any spoilers away, but basically he needs an army to solve his big problem in the third act, and the only army he knows was his previous captors. When he goes back, the game has changed, and he gets incarcerated. This is what he has to get out of. He has to get out of jail and not get killed by these apes in order to get his bigger problem solved.
EW:This picture might imply that he’s screwed, but he isn’t completely helpless, right? He’s got some skills?
AS: He’s not Superman. He has this one Superman-like ability where he can leap farther than we can here [on Earth]. But it’s like being a man on the moon. It can’t be forever. He can build up momentum. This green species called Tharks, they know his one special jumping ability, so they chain him to a rock. It’s entertainment. It’s entertainment to watch this execution. They give him a nice long length of chain, so he can bounce around, but he can’t go out of the arena. It’s an interesting problem to have for that guy.
EW:I’m sure John Carter is thinking right now, “This is a really interesting problem.”
AS:[Chuckles.] Right. And you’ve got these apes that can’t see, but they can smell really well. So it gives you a slight chance to not be killed immediately.
I've never read the books but that is a pretty badass visual right there, somewhat reminiscent of the awesome battle sequence in the Geonosis arena in Star Wars Episode II. The massive ape looks like a potential classic movie monster and crisply recreated, hopefully it moves well to keep up the sense of danger created by the image.
Funnily enough my Dad just bought my Mom the Robert Redford version for Christmas, anyway this is the Leo DiCaprio version co-starring Carey Mulligan and Spider-Man, directed by Baz Luhrman. This will be at least the 3rd time this novel has been adapted but what the hell.
Celebuzz got the scoop on these set pics, check the best one out below of Leo Gatsby getting his swag on with Carey Mulligan at his side and check out the rest at the link.
This 3 minute+ trailer popped up out of nowhere and is surreal, with an almost documentary feel to it. However the film looks like a visually visceral survival thriller that should provide tension and action with Liam Neeson looking on top grizzled form.
In Alaska, an oil drilling team struggle to survive after a plane crash strands them in the wild. Hunting the humans are a pack of wolves who see them as intruders.
