    John Carter IMAX One Sheet

Fandango have gotten the IMAX poster debut for John Carter, it's not a great poster in execution but it gets the reason to see this in IMAX over loud and clear.

Official synopsis - "The film tells the story of war-weary, former military captain John Carter (Taylor Kitsch), who is inexplicably transported to Mars where he becomes reluctantly embroiled in a conflict of epic proportions amongst the inhabitants of the planet, including Tars Tarkas (Willem Dafoe) and the captivating Princess Dejah Thoris (Lynn Collins). In a world on the brink of collapse, Carter rediscovers his humanity when he realizes that the survival of Barsoom and its people rests in his hands."

    Poster for Ridley Scott's Prometheus

20th Century Fox via Comingsoon.net have released the first poster for the eagerly anticipated and much scrutinized Alien prequel Prometheus.....or is it a prequel? they seem undecided on that front, at any rate it takes place in the same scary world as Alien and this poster is pretty ominous.

Now how  about that trailer Fox?

    The Expendables 2 Teaser!

This is really short and basically just a bunch of character shots, however if you love the 80's you'll get giddy like a teen girl at a Bieber concert when you see the final shot.

Trailer & Poster For Rock Of Ages

The 80's, oh how we love thee! The rock and roll musical "Rock of Ages" was a hit on Broadway and now is heading to cinema screens next summer. From the trailer via iTunes (courtesy of Coming Soon) I think it looks like a lot of fun and the music should be great...for those of us of a certain age. Tom Cruise looks like he will steal the show.

New Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance Poster

It's still hard to believe there is going to be a sequel to Ghost Rider but there is and Comingsoon.net have the new poster.

Nice Cage returns for this sequel directed by the creators/directors of the Crank movies....thrilling. The poster itself is pretty standard fare but should catch the eye due to it's vibrancy, whether that will translate to ticket sales is anyone's guess.

In the successor to the worldwide hit Ghost Rider, Johnny - still struggling with his curse as the devil's bounty hunter - is hiding out in a remote part of Eastern Europe when he is recruited by a secret sect of the church to save a young boy (Fergus Riordan) from the devil (Hinds). At first, Johnny is reluctant to embrace the power of the Ghost Rider, but it is the only way to protect the boy - and possibly rid himself of his curse forever.

New Poster For The Dark Knight Rises

Right now the prologue and the lack of being able to understand a word Bane says is taking up most of the discussion as regards the final Batman movie in Nolan's trilogy "The Dark Knight Rises."

However today this new poster has popped up on the official site.

I love the concept behind this image and it matches up with the amazing sounding image of Bane carrying a broken half Batman mask that has been described in prologue reports. It certainly gives off the vibe that this may not be a happy end to the trilogy, more like an "Empire Strikes Back" type of ending.

The Top 10 Most Important Characters In The Star Wars Saga

It's the biggest and most popular franchise in history, and since it's a slow (no) news period and I am still on a Star Wars high from the Blu Ray release and ongoing Cloine Wars toon, I thought I'd do an article on what I feel are the top 10 most important figures in the saga based on their impact to the overall story and key parts of the saga.

    10. R2D2

The little guy is a bit of an unsung hero, he gets the heroes out of tight situations more often than any other character in the saga, and more importantly without his heroics on Tatooine, getting the plans to Obi Wan, Luke's journey would never begin.

    9. Boba Fett

He tracks Han Solo to Bespin thus allowing Vader to lure in Luke and attempt to capture him. He then leaves with his bounty, Han Solo, and sets up the first real test of Luke as a Jedi, as the son of Anakin Skywalker takes on the powerful crime lord Jabba the Hutt to rescue Han.

    8. Princess Leia

A strong force in leading the rebellion against The Empire and the one that gets the origjnal Death Star plans away from Vader setting the whole fight back in motion. Also kills Jabba the Hutt.

    7. Han Solo

The scoundrel captain of the Millenium Falcon is the man that gets Luke and Obi Wan to the Death Star and helps rescue Leia, he also prevents Vader from killing Luke in the Death Star trench before blowing up the shield generator housed on Endor, allowing the rebel alliance to finally finish off The Empire.

    6. Jango Fett

Lures Obi Wan Kenobi away from Anakin; allowing Palpatine to place Anakin in the role of protecting Padme and putting them alone together thus twisting Anakin further from his path. However most important due to the fact he provided the DNA that created the Clone army that would eventually wipe out the majority of the Jedi and allow The Sith to take controlof the Galaxy.

    5. Yoda

The greatest Jedi of them all, saved Obi Wan and Anakin from Count Dooku, led the Jedi council through the Clone Wars and completed Luke's training, enabling him to defeat Vader and end the Empire.

    4. Luke Skywalker

The true hero of the saga, the one that restores order to the Galaxy and turns his father back from the dark side, to a degree it was too little too late for the chosen one, but it allowed his soul to rest in peace.

    3. Emperor Palpatine

The master manipulator, trainer of Darth Maul, corrupter of Count Dooku and the man that took out the Jedi after turning the chosen one Anakin Skywalker. He engineered an entire war to reach his endgame and ruled the Galaxy for 20 years.

    2. Obi Wan Kenobi

Defeated Darth Maul, General Grievous and Anakin Skywalker, but his reluctance to finish off a man he trained and saw as his borther allowed his former Padawan to become Darth Vader and carry out the purge of the Jedi. 20 years later he started the training of Anakin's son Luke and sacrificed himself to become his mentor.

    1. Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader

He is the central figure of the entire saga, from Pod racing slave boy believed to be the chosen one, to cocky young Jedi dealing with anger and darkness within, all the way to his turn to the dark side, leading the Jedi purge and in the end finding a degree of redemption through his son Luke by killing The Emperor Palptine, something he should have done 20 years earlier.

Tom Cruise Eyes All You Need Is Kill

I've heard the concept for "All You Need Is Kill," based on the Japanese novel by Hiroshi Sakurazaka described as "Groundhog Day...with aliens." I'm a big fan of Tom Cruise and like Doug Liman's work. However the plot for this sci fi actioner (via Coming Soon) doesn't really appeal to me, maybe when I see some footage my mind will be changed..

Tom Cruise has agreed to star in the Doug Liman-directed All You Need Is Kill at Warner Bros. Pictures, reports Variety.

There's one thing worse than dying. It's coming back to do it again and again... When the alien Gitai invade, Keiji Kiriya is just one of many raw recruits shoved into a suit of battle armor and sent out to kill. Keiji dies on the battlefield, only to find himself reborn each morning to fight and die again and again. On the 158th iteration though, he sees something different, something out of place: the female soldier known as the B*tch of War. Is the B*tch the key to Keiji's escape, or to his final death?

The trade adds that a deal is not officially signed yet, though the script has been rewritten to fit Cruise's age. Dante Harper wrote the script and Jody Harold did a rewrite.

Catfight! Paula Patton vs Lea Seydoux In Ghost Protocol Clip

Damn Ladies! Pretty aggressive stuff here from "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol" via IGN, I know Paula Patton has talked about doing fight training but I wonder if that included tackles in that tight dress.
