    New Lockout Trailer

"Lockout" has been described as "Die Hard in space." After viewing the trailer courtesy of IGN, I can see why.

Sure, there is some pretty corny dialogue and this doesn't look like the most original slice of cinematic pie out there. But the action looks solid enough and Guy Pearce seems to be enjoying his character. How often do you really see that in these type of movies?

    TDKR Pics In Entertainment Weekly!

Batman is on the cover of this month's Entertainment Weekly and today pics have hit the net from the inside.

Nothing startling exciting here and one of the pics kind of makes it look like Batman and Bane are gonna make out, but I'd say this is the kick-off for a big promotional push as we head towards the July release of the final movie in Nolan's Batman trilogy.

STAR WARS™: The Old Republic™ - Times Square Freeze Mob 12.20.11

This has to be one of the coolest pieces of advertising and promotion I've seen for any video game or movie. I am not a fan of RPG's in general and wont be buying the game, but I think any fan will appreciate this. It makes me wish they were promoting a new movie trilogy.

    The Hobbit Trailer And Poster

Do I really need to say much? Unless you lived under a rock you saw the Lord of the Rings trilogy and this is the book that came before it, but it's not a prequel, just an adventure with Bilbo Baggins, the Hobbit that gave the ring to Frodo.

Unlike with LOTR's I haven't read The Hobbit so my expectations were open and I think it looks good as you'd expect, but the lack of an Aragorn character is a miss in my view. Still, great to see that old stinker Gollum at the end.

First Poster For The Expendables 2

Harry Knowles over at AICN has gotten hold of the first official poster for the sequel to the nostalgia reliant action movie. As a kid of the 80's I'm looking forward to this but I hope it's a bit more polished than the first movie.

First Image From Bullet In The Head

No this is not a remake of the John Woo classic, it's a new Sylvester Stallone action movie directed by grizzly old action vet Walter Hill.

I'm enjoying Sly's comeback and this could be the best year for him in some time with two mainstream releases. The image itself is pretty intense and is it me or is that Kevin Nash?.....What? you thought he was dead just like Shaleen did?

    Comingsoon.Net

Stallone plays a New Orleans hitman who teams with a New York City detective in a high-stakes investigation that leads from the dingy back alleys of New Orleans all the way to the power corridors of Washington, D.C. The unlikely duo, brought together by two vicious murders, take on all who stand in their way, and are willing to sacrifice everything to exact revenge.
