    "Shaolin" Poster, Trailer, & Photos

ComingSoon.Net has the trailer & poster for "Shaolin" along with a plethora of photos which you can view in their gallery HERE.

As feuding warlords fight to expand their power, the noble monks of the Shaolin temple clean up the mess left behind, tending to the injured while trying their best to protect the poor and weak. The young general Hao Jie (Andy Lau from "Warlords" and "Infernal Affairs") has caused much of this mess, with his violent and ruthless tactics that rarely discriminate between soldiers and civilians.

When Hao is betrayed by fellow general Cao Man (Nicolas Tse from "The Promise" and "Shaolin Soccer"), he is forced into hiding, and takes refuge with the monks (including Jackie Chan) at their hidden mountain temple. As the days pass, he finds himself more and more at ease, as he learns the ways of peace. But Cao is not far behind, and war soon reaches the temple, where the monks are ready to fight back with a fierce style that none of the warlords have ever seen- their unstoppable Shaolin Kung Fu.

Brandon Routh Hearts Pizza: Domino's Parody

Brandon Routh may not be sporting the familiar red cape and boots of Superman any longer, but he's still having all sorts of fun. The folks over at Funny Or Die called on the former "Man Of Steel" for his help in a commercial parody of those annoying Domino's Pizza commercials where they track down somebody who hasn't tried their pizza and force it down there throats.

You may also notice the lovely Carla Gallo playing Routh's wife. Let's just say beware of the breadsticks representing dude parts along with bare man ass at the end. You've been warned.

    "Spartacus: Vengeance" Trailer

On the heels of the bloody escape from the House of Batiatus that concluded "Spartacus: Blood and Sand," the gladiator rebellion continues and begins to strike fear into the heart of the Roman Republic in "Spartacus: Vengeance." Gaius Claudius Glaber and his Roman troops are sent to Capua to crush the growing band of freed slaves that Spartacus leads before it can inflict further damage. Spartacus is presented the choice of satisfying his personal need for vengeance against the man that condemned his wife to slavery and eventual death or making the larger sacrifices necessary to keep his budding army from breaking apart.

    "Man Of Steel" Shooting Locations

    Via MyWebTimes

For three days, a bridge in La Salle County will be closed while Hollywood works its magic.

A scene from the upcoming "Superman: Man of Steel" movie, some of which is being shot in Plano, will be filmed on the U.S. 52 bridge over the Fox River east of Serena.

Illinois Department of Transportation media spokesman Josh Kauffman said the Warner Brothers production company was given permission and permits to close the bridge and adjacent highway sections for filming... on the span. Kauffman said the route will be reopened by Saturday.

The stars will be out in Sugar Grove next month, as scenes of Warner Brothers' new film, "Superman: Man of Steel," will be filmed there.

The filming will affect traffic. The Illinois Department of Transportation announced a shutdown of Route 56 from Route 47 to Galena Boulevard starting at 3 p.m. Aug. 7 until 8 p.m. Aug. 10.

Betsy Steinberg, managing director for the Illinois Film Office, said the movie will be filmed in other areas of the state, including in and around Plano, the western suburbs and Chicago, for several days in September.
Motorists will be re-routed during the filming while the roads are shut down.

Vehicles traveling east on Route 30 will exit onto Route 47, and then continue to Galena Boulevard to the Galena access ramp. Route 47 traffic will have to use the Galena access ramp to get onto Route 56.

Westbound traffic on Route 56 will have to exit onto Galena Boulevard to Route 47, then either stay on Route 47, or turn west onto Route 30.

Specific locations in Chicago still are unknown - no permit requests have been filed yet - but the city has been advised that shooting of exterior scenes in and around the Loop will take place from Aug. 7 to Aug. 17, weather permitting. "The dates have shored up," said Chicago Film Office Director Richard Moskal.

That's fewer days than hoped for by the supporting cast of Chicago film industry officials, unions and vendors eager to play a role as the big-budget picture rolls into town. But there had been concern that computer graphics or Canadian locales might steal even more scenes from Chicago's role as Metropolis.

"It turns out their needs for Metropolis exteriors have whittled down," Mr. Moskal said. While Warner Bros. is "still tweaking many creative aspects, it seems there was far more digital work and perhaps less of a need for practical on-the-scene filming."

What Henry Cavill "Could" Look Like As Clark Kent

It looks like "Man Of Steel" or "Superman: Man Of Steel" started filming today. The general public might not care all that much, heck they don't even know they are filming nevermind that they are even making another Superman movie, but the fans do.

We know they are filming, the blogs of the world. So do the fanboys that live at the bottom of the forums, they are more excited than a virgin rounding 2nd base.

A lot of these forum posters possess a boatload of talent when it comes to photo manips involving their favorite men in tights. Once such talented poster who calls himself "shieldshero" from the SuperHeroHype Forums created his own version of what Henry Cavill might look like as Clark Kent.

Not a bad photoshop. Here is the Origininal.

    Pittsburgh Experiences A Dark Knight

"The Dark Knight Rises" is invading Pittsburgh at full force, and Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale made statements with some pressure from the Pittsburgh Film Office because of the high interest level by the natives. Obviously there will be insane security on the set so this is  as close as you are going to get to seeing the powers surrouding Batman on film.

Check out the video featuring Christian Bale below along with quotes from Christopher Nolan courtesy of Pittsburgh Business Times.

    Christopher Nolan Quotes:

"When you're making a large-scale action film that has to showcase the vitality and size of a large American city but also involves a certain amount of disruption to that city in order to make the action credible on screen"

"It's a very beautiful city on a very impressive scale and that hasn't lost its human scale, that is very impressive and very hard to find."

"The Dark Knight Rises" will be all over Pittsburgh, turning the Steel City into Batman's Gotham City setting. But there will be plenty of Pittsburgh landmarks in the film, including Heinz Field (the scene of a big football game and crowd scene), Carnegie Mellon UniversitybizWatch , Downtown and a house in the Lawrenceville section of Pittsburgh. There will be road closures and city, county and state officials said that the inconveniences would be worth it to eventually see Pittsburgh on the big screen.

"Captain America" Final Scene & Sneak Peak At "The Avengers"

Yahoo Movies has released the final scene from "Captain America" which contains a sneak peak at "The Avengers" teaser which plays during the credits. Interesting bit of marketing on Marvel's part. A teaser for a teaser that's at the end of the credits of a film. I never thought I would find myself typing that.

The folks over at Yahoo Movies were also kind enough to take some screenshots from "The Avengers teaser which you can view below.

New "Two And A Half Men" Promo Shot

It's still weird without Charlie Sheen and I'm not sure if sticking to the familiar marketing path they used with the previous version is the way to go, but below it is. It should be an interesting mix with Kutcher joining the cast and the show will start off well if only out of curiousity. I'm assuming interest will drop off as the season goes on but nevertheless it's a reality.

I still would have been more of a fan if Hugh Grant took the role as was rumored.
