The Man of Steel Has Its Faora

Following the revelation (via Latino Review) that Faora, and not Ursa, would be General Zod's "right hand bitch" for The Man of Steel, Variety reports the filmmakers have chosen their actress for said role.

German actress Antje Traue (whose biggest role for audiences appears to be Pandorum with Dennis Quaid and Ben Foster two years ago) will be causing havoc for Superman (Henry Cavill) in the Zack Snyder-directed reboot alongside Michael Shannon's Zod.

Not much else to go off of, to be honest. Since I've personally never seen her in anything, I don't have anything positive or negative to say about her acting abilities or lack thereof. Definitely more of a good thing personally, since then it'll be easier to accept her as the character. That and she looks Kryptonian. But I'm a racist anyway – all Kryptonians look alike to me.

I haven't seen any of ms antje traue work before. So I don't have much judgement on her. But i wish her the best of luck with the role. Can't wait to see what they do with faora and how well she interacts with michael shannon's zod and henry cavill's superman.

I actually loved Pandorum, except for one lame plot twist. But I became an instant Antje fan.
