Lost Out on Playing Batman & Superman? Why Not Settle for Lone Ranger!

He has the bricks and God-given built structure to play a superhero, and it's not like such an opportunity hasn't appeared before Armie Hammer. As we all know he was flat-out cast as Batman for George Miller's Justice League: Mortal and was a reported contender for Superman in Zack Snyder's The Man of Steel.

But if Hammer is so content with playing one similar to Bradley Cooper with The Crow, I'd personally say "No!" to this one and wait for something better. "TOLDJA" reports The Social Network star is in talks to play the title character in The Lone Ranger.

Even something as not-so-sure as The Brothers Grimm: Snow White for Tarsem Singh sounds like a better idea. I mean the guy's gonna stand next to Johnny Depp, and you just know Depp's going to do everything in his power to "steal" the movie; even if he's playing Tonto by his own choosing.

I don't know, I like the direction Hammer is headed in so far with Social Network and looking forward to his J. Edgar performance to see him immediately jumping on the superhero bandwagon.

I think if anyone dropped the ball, WB and Snyder did by not casting this guy as Superman
