Gemma Arterton Replacing Megan Fox In Transformers 3?

As we reported earlier today Megan Fox has essentially been fired from Transformers 3 for making ridiculous remarks about director Michael Bay.

Well apparently Bay has wasted no time at all in finding her replacement. The Wrap reports the film makers have already met with Brooklyn Decker, Miranda Kerr and Bar Rafaeli to play the new female lead.

But according to their sources Prince of Persia star Gemma Arterton is the front-runner to replace Megan Fox. An individual close to the casting process says the actress has already had discussions with Bay about the coveted role.

Arterton remains the possibility who makes the most sense, as she plays Jake Gyllenhaal's love interest in "Prince of Persia" and is no stranger to Hollywood blockbusters, having also starred in "Clash of the Titans" and "Quantum of Solace."

While she is very attractive, some will still argue she is no where near Megan Fox' "sex symbol" status. I say, who cares she can actually act, unlike Fox who was really only good for looking at.
