Akiva Goldsman Directorial Debut Is 'Man and Wife '

Deadline reports, Akiva Goldsman, who began as a writer and branched into producing, is now taking a turn in the director’s chair.
Goldsman has closed a deal to helm Man and Wife, a 20th Century Fox drama about an assassin who’s hired to kill a family but becomes conflicted when he falls in love with them. Alan McElroy wrote the script and Jason Keller is rewriting. Chernin Entertainment’s Peter Chernin and Dylan Clark will produce with Ralph Winter. Clark, the former Universal exec, has history with Goldsman on films like Cinderella Man. The film had been a rumored vehicle for Goldsman.
Another forgettable project Goldsman's producing is Jonah Hex, but who cares because his directorial debut actually sounds promising. As much as I despise Fox right now for their two Arnie remakes in development, I think I'll actually be seeing this one.
