    Movie Moan - OOOOOKAY GOOOOOOOOOO!

That's a line from the classic 'Captain America And The Avengers' game in case you don't know. The only screen Marvel's Mightiest Heroes appeared on back in my youth was that of an arcade cabinet. But by the Beyonder, 'The Avengers'has exploded onto the screen and debuted to record breaking business in Europe.

So join ThinkMcFlyThink's European correspondent (and Movie Moan's biggest Marvel geek) Phil Gee as he takes back every word of doubt he ever had to say about this project and falls head over heels in love with the best Marvel movie made to date......period:-

4:55 mins - Trust us, it's a pretty spoiler-lite review of 'The Avengers'(we'll do the full blow by blow spoiler filled version next week once you've all had a chance to see it) but Phil does go into detail about character specifics, the film's great achievements, slight flaws and the beaming bright future of Marvel Studios.

43:05 mins - We had to chime in a little on 'The Hobbit'and the news of its lukewarm reception at this year's Cinema-Con. Phil's only talking about because the reviews of the preview footage mentioned it looked like 'I. Claudius'.

Think of this show as an appetizer for our comic book special extravaganza next week featuring 'The Avengers', 'The Dark Knight Rises', 'Man of Steel', 'The Amazing Spider-man', 'Dick Tracy' and perhaps more than one special guest. Have a great week!

    Movie Moan - BAYRITTO!

After a week's delay, classic Movie Moan returns with a bang in a show that was so much fun, we decided to keep it long.

This week, writer for 'Ain't It Cool News', Nordling (otherwise known as Alan Cerny) considers us worthy of his company as he makes Movie Moan the two billionth podcast on which he has gushed about 'Cabin In the Woods', and now having seen it, Jamie, Kristina and Phil can't wait to join in.

And the gang are all ears when Phil prepares them for the utter disaster that is Peter Berg's 'Battleship', should any of his American cousins decide to burn their money on it in a month's time.

    Here is tonight's menu:-

3:35 mins - The cozy random bullshit section where we discuss Jersey Shore, Russell Crowe - the closet Harry Potter fan, and more realistic endings to 'Big' and 'The Rocketeer'.

11:05 mins - Spoiler filled (but not so much that we blow every surprise in the third act) roundtable discussion on 'Cabin In The Woods'.

33:10 mins - Phil's review of 'Battleship' (and if you don't think it's one of the best he's done, he'll eat a chicken burrito).

50:50 mins - The smoke clears on the battle for the director of 'Catching Fire', the second film in 'The Hunger Games' trilogy but how excited could we be about Francis Lawrence?

68:25 mins - An attempt to analyse Warner Bros' decision to have another crack at a 'Lobo' movie instead very quickly dissolves into talking about Batman again.

74 mins - Gushing over the first trailer for 'Looper'starring Joseph Gordon Levitt with some Bruce Willis on his mouth.

79:05 mins - A special announcement regarding a new regular feature coming to Movie Moan this summer.

    No Moanin' This Week

    Hey folks!

Firstly, I'd like to thank you all for the response our prediction power hour special.  It's been our most viewed show ever and I cannot tell you how delighted and humbled I am by that (especially given it's absurd length and how busy you all must be).

Secondly, we just wanted you to know that there will be no show this week, though not through lack of trying.  We were ready to bring it you but unconquerable technical problems made it impossible.  We promise that we will be back same time next week and it will be a belter of a show (my review of 'Battleship' will be worth the wait alone).

We're also hoping to have another very special (and new) guest on the next show and I'll have a very cool announcement about something Movie Moan will be adding to its regular itinnery over the course of the Summer season.

And I might even have a special treat for you before the week is out too.  Stay tuned!

Movie Moan's Summer 2012 Prediction Power Hour

    IT HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS BEGUN!

Phil, Kristina and Jamie reunite to do battle once more as they look at each of the summer blockbusters in detail one more time and place their bets on just how much money each will bring in.  Will 'The Dark Knight Rises' cross $500 million?  Will 'Battleship' make a tenth of that?  Do kids love 'The Amazing Spider-man' enough for the web slinger to survive against the competition this year?  Which insane prediction of Phil's will make us drop our mics?  Most importantly, will Kristina win this time?

Also joining us this year is professional help in the form of Writer for BOXOFFICE.com and Founder of BoxOfficeTheory.com, Shawn Robbins!

And in case you want to skip to a specific prediction, here are the cliff notes:

    5 mins - The Avengers

    13:35 mins - Dark Shadows

21:10 mins - The Dictator (which changed its release date to May 18th right after we recorded)

    29:30 mins - Battleship

    37 mins - Men In Black 3

43:10 mins - Snow White & The Huntsman

    51:55 mins - Prometheus

63:25 mins - Rock Of Ages

    68:45 mins - Brave

    78:50 mins - G.I.Joe: Retaliation

Movie Moan - Would You Like To Discuss The Bird Shit Facial With Me?

Well Queen Kristina would like to discuss it with you.  She has seen 'Mirror Mirror'.  She has seen horrors which cannot be unseen.  Armie Hammer with rabbit ears, Sean Bean, murder followed by excessive dancing; this fim has it all.

    Here's what's on tonight's menu:-

5:10 mins - Phil & Jamie review 'Wrath Of The Titans' - the world's smallest midget of a film.

16:35 mins - Kristina & Jamie review 'Mirror Mirror' - a bona fide piece of shit.

26 mins - Capt. Ed Hocken reviews 'The Raid: Redemption' or 'Fists In A Building' as I like to call it.

29:05 mins - 'Triplets', the sequel to 'Twins' is coming to theatres and we almost have nothing to say.

31:40 mins - 'Anchorman 2' is officially on the way but Phil has his concerns.

39:55 mins - But Phil is excited by the short list of possible directors for 'Captain America 2'.

47:55 mins - Kristina & Phil end the show with a look at the long hidden away Disney documentary 'The Sweatbox', a film they still don't want you to see.
