Movie Moan: Top Gun............IN 3D?
Wed, October 5, 2011 This is the first time Phil has heard the news but it adds credence to his theory that, thanks to the success of 'The Lion King 3D', Disney are going to be re-releasing a lot more of their classic animated films in the same format over the next few years. Jamie, Ed and Kristina throw in their two cents, the latter having revisited her favorite film of all time this week.
Plus, we bemoan the latest studio strategy of DVD/Blu Ray double dipping as 'Transformers: Dark Of The Moon' is released completely bare bones with the promise that the 'proper' version will be on the way soon. We also decide which director of those short-listed is best suited to bring the new version of 'The Twilight Zone' to the silver screen.
Finally, Kristina punishes the rest of us on 'the moan of the week' by choosing 'The Ballad Of Jack And Rose'for us to discuss. Phil and Jamie don't mince words about it.
