Trailer For "The Details" Starring Tobey Maquire & Elizabeth Banks

After ten years of marriage, Jeff and Nealy Lang (Tobey Maguire and Elizabeth Banks) have an idyllic suburban home… and a relationship on the skids.  But, when a family of hungry raccoons ransacks their perfectly manicured backyard, Jeff becomes single-mindedly obsessed with eradicating the pests by any means necessary. Soon the relentless rodents aren’t merely uprooting the lawn, but also overturning the Langs’ entire bourgeois existence, as the man-versus-beast battle leads into an absurd mess of infidelity, extortion, organ donation and other assorted mayhem.  Devilish throughout, THE DETAILS also stars Laura Linney in a stand-out performance as the Langs’ eccentric neighbor, Lila.  Ray Liotta, Dennis Haysbert and Kerry Washington round out the cast in this darkly funny meditation on marital malaise.

THE DETAILS will be available on VOD October 5, 2012 and in theaters November 2, 2012.

Gina Carano Is An Expendable Female

I have a lot of respect for Gina Carano as an athlete and an actress. I obviously don't know her personally, (there is time for that) but you have to admire her career path. I drooled over her as Crush on American Gladiators then rooted her on as the "Face of Women's MMA"

I thought her film debut in Haywire made for a sold introduction to the general public. Yes, I know I typed debut, I'm discounting everything that came before because I can. I'm not saying Gina is going to be the female version of Dwayne Johnson but there is somewhat of a similar resume. Funny enough Gina is going to star alongside the behemoth in Fast 6 and as one of TMT's favorite writers Jeff Sneider of Variety is reporting, she is the first female Expendable.

"I don't know how I'm supposed to make a movie that is supposed to be the female version of 'The Expendables' without Gina Carano in it. It would be like making Twix without caramel or Jamba Juice without jamba," said Shankar, whose shingle recently co-produced Joe Carnahan's "The Grey," Pete Travis' "Dredd 3D," Andrew Dominik's upcoming Brad Pitt-starrer "Killing Them Softly" and the viral Internet hit "The Punisher: Dirty Laundry," starring Thomas Jane.

I like the thought of a female version of The Expendables, the question is, who else would you cast alongside Gina? I would personally like to see Jessica Biel kicking some ass, Jennifer Garner also would be a nice choice. Ali Larter? Maggie Q?

The film follows title character Bilbo Baggins, who is swept into an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor, which was long ago conquered by the dragon Smaug. Approached out of the blue by the wizard Gandalf the Grey, Bilbo finds himself joining a company of thirteen dwarves led by the legendary warrior Thorin Oakenshield. Their journey will take them into the Wild; through treacherous lands swarming with Goblins and Orcs, deadly Wargs and Giant Spiders, Shapeshifters and Sorcerers.
