    Spielberg's "Terra Nova" Photos

In the year 2149 the world is dying.  The planet is overdeveloped, overcrowded and overpolluted.  With the majority of plant and animal life extinct, devotion to science has brought mankind to the brink of destruction, but has also provided its only hope for salvation.  Knowing there is no way to reverse the damage to the planet, a coalition of scientists has managed to open up a fracture in the space-time continuum, creating a portal to prehistoric Earth.  This doorway leads to an amazing world, one that allows for a last-ditch effort to save the human race… possibly changing the future by correcting the mistakes of the past.

The series centers on the Shannon family as they join the tenth pilgrimage of settlers to TERRA NOVA, the first colony of humans in this second chance for civilization.  JIM SHANNON a devoted father with a checkered past, guides his family through this new land of limitless beauty, mystery and terror.  Jim’s wife, ELISABETH SHANNON, is a trauma surgeon chosen through a global lottery as a new addition to Terra Nova’s medical team.  JOSH SHANNON is their son, mourning the girl he left behind, as he’s torn between two role models – his father and the charismatic COMMANDER FRANK TAYLOR, the leader of the settlement, and the heroic first pioneer through the time portal.  MADDY SHANNON, Jim and Elizabeth’s teen daughter, is as independent and adventurous as her parents, but her distrust of authority soon leads her on a dangerous path.

In addition to blue skies, rolling rivers, and lush vegetation, TERRA NOVA offers new opportunities and fresh beginnings to its recent arrivals, but the Shannons have brought with them a familial secret that may threaten their citizen ship in this utopia.  Additionally these adventurers soon discover that this healthy, vibrant world is not as idyllic as it initially appears.  The areas surrounding Terra Nova are filled with dangerous dinosaurs, and other prehistoric threats, as well as external forces that may be intent on destroying this new world before it begins.

But perhaps even more threatening than what lies outside the protective walls is the Shannons’ realization that something sinister may be happening inside TERRA NOVA as not everyone on this mission has the same intentions of how to best save mankind.

There she reconnects with Sheriff Dewey (David Arquette) and Gale (Courteney Cox), who are now married, as well as her cousin Jill (Emma Roberts) and her Aunt Kate (Mary McDonnell).

    Superman Audition Leaked?

I do a lot of posting on forums. Especially movie forums. Some might call it a waste of time, others might shout out, "Me too bro, let's drink some a 5 Hour Energy and talk about the ups and downs of Kevin Smith's career!"

Sometimes on these forums you find some interesting tidbits of information from like-minded posters who also share in your addiction to posting and lurking. A poster by the name of SuperZer0 of the Supeherohype Forums posted an interesting video today in the Superman Section.

It appears that Todd Cahoon, a TV actor, posted what seems to be an audition for the upcoming "Superman: Man of Steel" on Youtube. The video looks authentic, but how could that possibly be? There is no way WB would let an audition leak on the internet. Somebody would have to go in Human Target style and steal it for that to even be a possibility.

The only situation where this could be legit that I can think of, is that the actor and his agent sent it in to the studio once they found out WB was looking for a new actor to play Superman. That I can see.

Mr. Cahoon does look the part and seems like he could have some chops. He's been in "Burn Notice", "Desperate Housewives", and "Seven Pounds" among other tv and film appearances. Seems to be a case of an actor trying to drum up fan support and from what we know he is a tad too old for what they are looking for in the new Man of Steel.

What do you think? Fake as it gets or the real deal?

Alf Was A Racist And A Pervert

I remember watching "Alf" when I was younger and any time Lynn Tanner appeared on the screen I felt a bit funny in the pants. I mean, she was no Six from "Blossom", but she really knew how to rock a pair of Keds and pegged washed out jeans.

Apparently our hairy alien friend Gordon Shumway, aka Alf felt the same way. In the clip below I am pretty sure he asks actress Andrea Elson (Lynn Tanner) to "straddle" him. The outtakes also feature Alf dropping the what in some circles is known as the "N Word" several times.

TMZ was able to catch up with associate producer of Alf, Steve Lamar about "Alfgate".

"You're talking about 20 years ago when the world was not so ridiculously PC. Anyone that's offended needs to lighten up already."

    "The Other Woman" Trailer

Emilia (Portman) is a Harvard law school graduate and a newlywed, having just married Jack (Cohen), a high-powered New York lawyer, who was her boss -- and married -- when she began working at his law firm. Unfortunately, her life takes an unexpected turn when Jack and Emilia lose their newborn daughter. Emilia struggles through her grief to connect with her new stepson William (Tanan), but is finding it hard to connect with this precocious child. Perhaps the most difficult obstacle of all for Emilia is trying to cope with the constant interferences of her husband's angry, jealous ex-wife, Carolyn (Kudrow)
