    No Pacific Rim Super Bowl Spot? Here's Some Pictures Instead

    Can't begin to... fathom how monumentally stupid it was for Warner Brothers to avoid the Super Bowl. The Hangover Part III doesn't need the extra attention because it's The Hangover Part III. On the other hand, the more they spread it towards Pacific Rim and The Man of Steel, the better.

    They need it. Hell they scream they need it. But no, the day after the Big Game, instead we have new pictures via USA Today. Because that's totally the same as the highest watched sporting event of the year. And no, filmmakers tweeting how amazing it was doesn't count. Rian Johnson is a very good filmmaker but his liking Pacific Rim means diddly dick to the general public and whether or not they want to see it.
