    Oscar Winning & Nominated Films On Cable’s Movies On Demand 

    With all of the golden statues handed out, Hollywood’s biggest night and the 2012 Awards Season comes to a close. But the excitement of these great films continues with many of last night’s winners now playing on cable’s Movies On Demand (MOD).  For those who want to check out these celebrated titles from the comfort of home, all they need do is click on their digital cable remotes.

    One of the biggest winners, “Hugo,” premieres on MOD February 28.  In March, winners “The Descendants” and “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” and nominees “My Week with Marilyn,” “Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close,” “Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy” and “The Adventures of Tintin” will premiere.  Other winners and nominees currently playing are listed below.

     Nominated films premiering in March include: “Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close” (March 27**- weeks before Netflix and Redbox), “My Week with Marilyn” (March 13**), “Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy” (March 20** - weeks before Netflix and Redbox), “The Adventures of Tintin” (March 20).
