Video Of the New Bat Vehicle

Last night Pete posted the first spy pic of the new Bat vehicle, believed to be capable (in the film) of flying and hovering.

Today Mark Duffy posted video footage of the vehicle arriving at the Wabash Tunnel and you can get a really good look at it. Make your own mind up on the design aesthetic influences for it outside of the obvious Tumbler style plating. It seems as if it will be operated by rigs similar to the Hovercar's in Total Recall.

Lots of panels very similar to the Tumbler-especially around the top of the 'cockpit'. Exhaust flap towards the rear of the vehicle looks exactly like the roof panel from the Tumbler except turned backwards. Not too sure that this thing is a 'transformed' version of the Batmobile-looks too big. But you never know. There may be another Batmobile/military vehicle that we don't know about which is the source of the Chris Nolan statement that the one we'll be seeing is a 'sligthly sleeker version' of the one from the previous movies. Remember how he 'lied' and said that the Batpod would not 'emerge' from the Tumbler. Well, 'technically' he was right-it didn't 'emerge' but rather 'transformed' into the Batpod. Anyway, it will be very interesting to see how this thing fits into the story.
