Battleship Teaser Trailer – They're Kidding, Right?

As if there wasn't snickering at the thought of a movie based on the Battleship board-game getting made and it involving aliens comes this teaser trailer from Yahoo! Movies.

It's never a bad thing to be open-minded and remember that we're not supposed to know all the details on these big movies from the start-up and allow the filmmakers and cast (in this case, Peter Berg, Taylor Kitsch, Liam Neeson and Alexander Skarsgard) the benefit of the doubt. Unforunately, our first look, due in theaters next May, doesn't help that cause.

Somwhere at this very moment, Funny or Die is pissed they didn't think of this first.
