    The Muppets Can't Help Themselves - Another Spoof Trailer

    We knew there was only snowball's chance in hell that The Muppets would be taking Eddie Murphy's place as Oscar host this year, but it was fun to hope it would happen, wasn't it?  It's still a good idea - just put Statler and Waldorf up in the balcony to heckle the acceptance speeches that go on too long.  Best. Oscars. Ever.

    Anyway, with The Muppets set to hit theaters on November 23, promos galore are hitting the interwebs, and along with them, even though they promised not to do any more...a new spoof trailer on Yahoo Movies:

    Yes, they've done far too many spoof trailers.  But they're still hilarious.

    For those sick of the spoofs, there is a new montage video on the Muppets official YouTube channel that's got some good stuff as well:

    I can't wait for this movie.  And I'm still hoping to see them in some capacity at the Oscars.  Seriously, Brian Grazer...make it happen.
