Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson Talks 'Rundown 2'

While talking with Latino Review about his newest action flick 'Faster', Dwayne Johnson had the following to say about working with Pete Berg again and the possibility of doing 'Rundown 2' with him:

"He's my buddy man. I love Peter. I would love to. It's interesting because we essentially started our careers at the same time. He had that one Vegas movie...

"I was doing Scorpion King. And we started our careers at around the same time. And you go apart after The Rundown. And I wanted to work in other genres, become a better actor. And he wanted to work in other genres, become a better director. So coming back and working with Peter Berg would be awesome. I would love to. Whether it's another Rundown or anything else. We're constantly looking for something to do together."

I'm sure Dwayne's fans everywhere are happy just to see him out of the pink tights and back in the action genre he started his acting career off with, but who wouldn't mind seeing him in  'Rundown 2'. I'm sure its not likely we'll actually see a sequel to Rundown, but I don't doubt that we'll see him and Berg teaming up again in the future. As for going their separate ways to become a better Actor and Director, I have to laugh, sure Berg has progressed as a director doing such big hits as "Hancock" with mega star Will Smith, but has The Rock really become that much better of an actor for throwing on the tights? No, not really, I guess he's lucky we don't care, I don't know anyone that's actually excited to see his next picture "Faster" based on his growth as an actor and great his performance, his fans myself included can't wait to see him kick some ass again!

Faster opens in theaters November 19 2010, as for "Rundown 2" I won't count it out yet, but I'm not expecting anything anytime soon.
