Joining Phil and Jamie this week are our regular Movie Moan friends Jen Mayhew and Gabe Toro as we review 'Kick Ass 2', they try to describe the 'experience' that is Lee Daniels' 'The Butler' and we jump from random topic to random topic to make up for lack of interesting news.

Congrats on your promotion, Phil! Sorry there's not more money in it for you (how is that a promotion then exactly, unless you define the word differently in the Queen's English?) but maybe a nice raise for you next time, fingers crossed.
In case any of you are wondering, I will be watching Man of Steel and catching the 4-hour show in about 2 weeks. Turns out I'm going to have a staycation then so I have time to see the movie which should still be in my local discount theater and then watch the show afterward while the movie's fresh in my head. I'm a little worried about my parents' criticisms of it but your doing the show gives me the perfect excuse to check it out, finally.
OK, so maybe "connected" should have been in quotes. LOL. I was referring to the Movie Moan team as a whole, given the guests, etc. that you've had on who have some experience with the industry. Either way, I'm glad I was at least able to give you a chuckle for your birthday and thanks for the mention on the show! As always, I look forward to the next one!
