    Movie Moan - Superman Lives, Phil Is Broke

    If you didn't already know, filmmaker Jon Schnepp's Kickstarter project to make a documentary about the unmaking of 'Superman Lives' is a GO.  It's amazing news for all Superman fans, and terrible news for Phil's bank account.

    But to cheer him up, he saw a great movie with Jamie and there is some very cool news to discuss so let's get to it:

    6:25 mins - Phil and Jamie review 'Oz: The Great And Powerful'.....and awesome, and not headache inducing, and well worth an IMAX ticket.

    31:35 mins - 'Iron Man 3' trailer, nuff said.

    46:20 mins - Sam Mendes is off Bond 24 and the producers need a new director yesterday so what's the next move?

    57:55 mins - Is Jamie feeling just a little positive and hopeful over 'The Amazing Spider-man 2'?

    Iron Man 3 trailer was cool but if Gwyneth Paltrow isn't coming back after Iron Man 3 how will they explain her absence?

    Well since you guys are talking about Spider-man again it's a perfect time to say this now. I didn't watch the part where you guys talked about Amazing Spider-Man 2. I'm not going to see any of your trailer reactions nor will I comment on them here. Why? Because of what happened last time. The only time I will hear you guys talk about ASM 2 and the only time I will comment about it is during the Box Office prediction show of 2014. That's it! I don't want to re-live the craziness of last year ever again.

    PS: What happened to Queen Kristina?

    Phil in the beginning of the OZ review you talked how it felt like they cut something when Oz comes to the city.

    they did cut Oz and Theodora driving through the city where they showed all the people. you can see it in the trailer and in this EW video. they also cut some scenes with Theodora. i think a lot of development with Oz and Theodora was cut to get a 2 hour movie.

    Saw Oz in 2D and really liked it.

    Sam Raimi pulled it off making a prequel to the original that honors it and at the same time creates a movie with modern sensibilities. Gorgeous to look at and well acted too. The China Girl was a wonderful character.

    Well done Sam.

    PS - was really enjoying the Iron Man 3 trailer until all the other robots showed up. Didn't they did that last movie already? Too bad, everything looked great until thing.

    @Dark_B

    I smell an extended cut on the way. Thank you for pointing that out.

    @Lou

    Sir, I'm getting the impression this whole Iron Army thing is a big deal in the comics (Hulkbuster certainly is). They're just giving people what they want. Anyway, we haven't seen them in action yet. Give the robots a chance I say.

    @A2THEH

    Kristina is beyond busy right now. We were really hoping to have her on for the Oz show but it didn't work out. She will return one day I hope.

    And I'm going to say this as someone who always appreciates your comments. I don't believe we did anything wrong over 'The Amazing Spider-man'. We expressed our opinions based on what we saw and what we feel, and we never stated any of it as fact. The only fact I have stated (multiple times) is that there are plenty of people who loved the movie and can't wait for more of it.

    The only craziness that is going to come will be from people who are not willing to accept or listen to our opinion (and we don't even really have one on the sequel yet). Because to be close-minded about such a thing is crazy.

    @Phil Gee

    This does tie-in do the ridiculous fanboy negativity online. I still think I will watch the actual review from you guys when the movie comes out but man oh man I really want to skip the trailer reactions part.
