    Prometheus SDCC Footage Screen Caps

Well they aren't great quality but since Ridley Scott has not bestowed a trailer on us these are the first real look at his quasi Alien prequel courtesy of dreadcentral.com and this guy/girl's photo album on use.com, it's pretty clear that visually, the Alien DNA is in tact, whatever this movie's overall plot ends up being.

Bane And Miranda Tate (?) On The TDKR Set

JustJared has gotten hold of more cool pics from the set of The Dark Knight Rises. Below you'll get another look at Tom Hardy as Bane, but more interestingly the beautiful Marion Collitard as Miranda Tate.....at least that's the character she is listed as, but you draw your own conclusions.

Video Of Bane And Batman Fighting

has come up with the goods again! and looking at the ferocity of the shots Batman and Bane are throwing at each other we are in for a hell of a battle in The Dark Knight Rises. The fight takes place smack dab in the middle of a full blown riot outside Gotham City Hall.

    Batman vs Bane!

It's on in Pittsburgh (Doubling as Gotham City) as Batman and Bane go at it in the middle of a massive priosn riot in the snow! Getty images grabbed these fantastic pics of of The Dark Knight engaged in combat with his most phsyical enemy to date in the Christopher Nolan directed "The Dark Knight Rises."

Bane was also spotted yesterday atop a Camo Tumbler, which was one of three filming in the area, which has led to speculation of a Tumbler vs Tumbler sequence in the movie. Excited yet?

In addition, here's some cool videos taken from the set and a good look at the action. Thanks to amd

The Ides of March Trailer & Poster

Yahoo! Movies has the trailer and poster for the George Clooney directed political drama 'The Ides of March'. The film stars Clooney, Ryan Gosling, Paul Giamatti and Phillip Seymour Hoffman, so I am guessing they are hoping for some Oscar love.

Clooney has shown himself to be an accomplished director and is a proven actor and Gosling is one of the most versatile and talented young actors out there, when you add in the supporting cast and what looks like a gripping story of the machinations of a Presidential campaign, I think we may well have a winner here.

    The Trailer For Tower Heist

Yahoo! Movies has debuted the trailer for the Brett Ratner directed 'Tower Heist,' a heist comedy starring Ben Stiller, Eddie Murphy, Tea Leoni and, for some reason, Casey Affleck.

Here's the problem, this is a comedy heist movie, but it doesn't look funny and the heist doesn't look slick and cool, so it's basically a double scoop of fail.

    Total Recall Set Pics

Production is well under way in Vancouver on Len Wiseman's Total Recall remake, even though technically it's actually another adaption of the Phillip K Dick story "we can remember it for you wholesale."

In these pics from The Daily Mail we can see Kate Beckinsale in the futuristic cop car with the an armoured cop that was displayed at SDCC, and in the other pics are Colin Farrell and Jessica Biel in another futuristic car.

I like that Wiseman is having these cars built and not just going all CGI, my guess is the movie will feature a hover car chase and using fully built up models on plinths will hopefully give the scene weight.

First Images From Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance

ComingSoon.Net has gotten hold of the first pics from the sequel to 2007's Ghost Rider, yes they are making a sequel, I'm not sure why exactly as the first was not a huge hit either critically or financially, but the guys behind Crank are making one along with Nice Cage who returns in the titular role.

As for these first images, well the only really interesting one looks like a work in progress, but apparently the footage at SDCC got a decent response so time will tell. I personally think Ghost Rider is a cool character with a great visual for cinema, kind of like a demonic Terminator, so hopefully this second effort does him justice.

    Hawkeye And Black Widow Posters

The other day Avengers solo art posters for Captain America and Iron Man came online, and today we have Hawkeye and Black Widow.

These really are great little teasers for fans, and if I am not mistaken that is the SHIELD Helicarrier in the background of Hawkeye's poster.

Keep an eye out over the weekend as we should officially be getting that Avengers teaser trailer that is currently showing after Captain America, but for now check out these cool posters.

Prometheus Pic and Footage Description From SDCC

I'm no longer sure how this movie is being classed as regards prequelism (new word) but we have our first image and i09.com has the lowdown on the footage shown at SDCC, plus at the link is some waffle from Lindelof and Theron to basically sell you on how deep and smart this is, plus Ridley mentions that the creatures are "biomechanoid".

    Footage Description:

And then the actual footage from the film starts, and its a huge flood of creeptastic imagery that recalls Alien but also a bit of 2001: A Space Odyssey. There are guys in pressure suits exploring an ancient chamber with weird hieroglyphs, and a guy in a spacesuit walking through a sliding door into a clean white chamber. And a guy (who might be Michael Fassbender) pulling a weird jelly-looking thing out of a canister. And as Ridley Scott's voiceover notes that things that may look small in the film will turn out to be important, there is a shot of a drop of blood on a finger. There is Charlize Theron on a table with bandages wrapped around her breasts, as though she's waking from hypersleep.

And then the footage gets faster and more furious, with a guy in a visor looking down at something, a woman in a suit walking into a red entryway, and a globe, and then Scott says, "The cast find an establishment which is not what they expected it to be, it's a civilization but what we find in it is very uncivilized behavior." And then there is insane carnage and people with goop inside their space helmets and someone shooting a flamethrower, and mayhem breaking loose in confined spaces. Meanwhile, Scott's voiceover is saying that there will be biomechanoids and the film will "break new ground." We see a giant pale planet with rings around it.

And then we see Charlize Theron doing pushups naked. Ridley Scott proises that there will be creatures that are "biomechanoid" which will be unique and "break new ground." Says Scott in the video, "There is a DNA of the original Alien, [but] that's as far as it goes, everything else is completely different. It's all about everything." And now the people in the footage are crying and screaming and freaking out and the video is flickering like an interrupted signal. And Scott concludes, "Of course, what i want to do is scare the living *beep* out of you."
