Ok that's a horrid pun, but Anne Hathaway reminds me of Audrey Hepburn in these pics from the LA set of The Dark Knight Rises. She's clearly in Selina Kyle socialite mode in these pics, and given what we've heard, Nolan is really investing a lot of movie time into Selina/Catoman's story.
Celebuzz nabbed the pics below along with several more.
Johnny Depp can do no wrong and the poster for his next movie has arrived via Yahoo! movies. I have to say this is one of the more inventive posters I've seen this year.
Moviefone has the first poster for Katherine Heigl's new action comedy which essentially sounds like the crappy Jennifer Anistion/Gerard Butler movie 'The Bounty Hunter', only with the roles reversed.
Adapting a best-selling book for the big screen doesn't always guarantee you a box office hit (see: 'One Day'), but, at the very least, it provides a built-in audience. Enter 'One for the Money,' based on the popular book by author Janet Evanovich. Starring Katherine Heigl as Stephanie Plum, the film is about an unemployed lingerie buyer (Heigl) who goes to work for her cousin, a bail bondsmen. She eventually finds herself going after Joe Morelli (Jason O'Mara), a former lover now accused of murder. Twist!
My friend Pili over at Tom Cruise Foreverhas scanned the article on the new Mission Impossible film that appears in the magazines winter preview. Below is the main pic of Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt, to read the article on the movie which includes an interview with Brad Bird, go to the link above.
The Dark Knight Rises is now filming in Los Angeles and over the last few days there has been some vehicle carnage with Batman on the Batpod chasing Bane's mercs on bikes, as well as a multi car pile up.
Well today was Catwoman's turn, taking out some Gotham low lives in a wintry looking Gotham. Anne Hathaway said she'd been training and did indeed do the stunt fight herself.
There's not a whole lot to say, Just Jared has gotten these amazing shots of Captain America (Chris Evans), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) on the NEw York set of The Avengers.
Comingsoon.Net have an exclusive look at the poster for dark comedy thriller 'Killer Joe', starring Matthew McConaughey, Emile Hirsch and Thomas Haden Church.
Directed by William Friedkin (The French Connection) this quirky little movie may just be another good choice for McConaughey, who plays the titular hitman, following on from his excellent performance in 'The Lincoln Lawyer'.
n Killer Joe, when 22-year-old drug dealer Chris (Hirsch) has his stash stolen by his mother, he has to come up with six thousand dollars quick or he's dead. Desperate, he turns to "Killer Joe" (McConaughey) when he finds out that his mother's life insurance policy is worth $50,000. Although Joe usually demands cash up front, he finds himself willing to bend the rules in exchange for Chris' attractive younger sister, Dottie (Temple), who will serve as sexual collateral until the money comes in... if it ever does.
Killer Joe, is making its worldwide premiere at the Venice Film Festival before making its North American debut at the Toronto International Film Festival. The film is produced by Nicolas Chartier (The Hurt Locker) and Scott Einbinder.
Latino Review has gotten hold of two International posters for Real Steel, Personally I like them both, in fact all the posters for this film have been pretty decent.
Real Steel hits cinemas October 7th.
A gritty, white-knuckle, action ride set in the near-future, where the sport of boxing has gone hi-tech, Real Steel stars Jackman as Charlie Kenton, a washed-up fighter who lost his chance at a title when 2000-pound, 8-foot-tall steel robots took over the ring. Now nothing but a small-time promoter, Charlie earns just enough money piecing together low-end bots from scrap metal to get from one underground boxing venue to the next. When Charlie hits rock bottom, he reluctantly teams up with his estranged son Max (Goyo) to build and train a championship contender. As the stakes in the brutal, no-holds-barred arena are raised, Charlie and Max, against all odds, get one last shot at a comeback.
I remember when this was announced about a year ago I thought it sounded like a potentially intriguing espionage thriller. Comingsoon.net now has the trailer and synopsis via iTunes, and while it looks decent, the trailer seems to give virtually the whole film away.
On a personal note, as a Castle fan it's disappointing to see Stana Katic's role appears to be a small one.
Directed by Michael Brandt and written by Derek Haas and Brandt (the duo behind Wanted, 3:10 to Yuma and 2 Fast 2 Furious), the film stars Richard Gere, Topher Grace, Stana Katic, Stephen Moyer, Martin Sheen and Odette Annable.
In The Double, opening in theaters on September 23, the mysterious murder of a US senator bearing the distinctive trademark of the legendary Soviet assassin "Cassius" forces Paul Shepherdson (Gere), a retired CIA operative, to team with rookie FBI agent, Ben Geary (Grace), to solve the crime. Having spent his career chasing Cassius, Shepherdson is convinced his nemesis is long dead, but is pushed to take on the case by his former supervisor, Tom Highland (Sheen). Meanwhile, Agent Geary, who wrote his Master's thesis on Shepherdson's pursuit of the Soviet killer, is certain that Cassius has resurfaced. As Shepherdson and Geary work their way through crimes both past and present, they discover that Cassius may not be the person they always thought him to be, forcing both to re-examine everything and everyone around them.
