    Homeland Season 3 Trailer

Showtime has released the trailer for the forthcoming third season of the Emmy-winning Homeland. Can't speak for the rest of you, but I am the worst procrastinator about TV shows. I prefer to watch a season as one-lump-sum instead of waiting it out in suspense week-after-week (Mad Men being the exception to that rule).

They keep telling me how great Homeland is. By "they," I refer to critics and pals in real life. Guess I should dust off my DVD copy of season one and watch it, huh?

    Metamorpho Joining Arrow?

Pretty big news regarding Arrow has ramped up anticipation for season 2 with Barry Allen joining residence of Starling City. The upcoming season has been taglined "City of Heroes" and Marc Guggenheim released a very interesting image today that could be a possible hint for more characters to join the cast.

Even with this Metamorpho reference, if he is included on the show, I'm sure there would be a radical redesign from the classic look his known for. Just check the image below and you'll see what I mean. This heightens the excitement even more for this show and all of the potential for WB/DC finally getting their shared universe out in the open.

"Sons Of Anarchy" Season 6 Trailer

"Sons of Anarchy" is an adrenalized drama with darkly comedic undertones that explores a notorious outlaw motorcycle club’s (MC) desire to protect its livelihood while ensuring that their simple, sheltered town of Charming, California remains exactly that, charming. The MC must confront threats from drug dealers, corporate developers, and overzealous law officers. Behind the MC’s familial lifestyle and legally thriving automotive shop is a ruthless and illegal arms business driven by the seduction of money, power, and blood.

Jackson ‘Jax’ Teller (Charlie Hunnam) is SAMCRO’s new President who must face the consequences of the MC’s illicit deeds before they tear the club apart. Gemma Teller-Morrow (Katey Sagal) is Jax’s formidable mother. Clarence ‘Clay’ Morrow (Ron Perlman) is Jax’s stepfather, the last of the Original Nine and former President. Dr. Tara Knowles (Maggie Siff) is Jax’s old lady and mother of his second son.

Having framed Clay for the murder of Damon Pope, Season Six begins with Jax’s leadership uncontested, but his family life suffering from his single-minded pursuit of John Teller’s vision. Jax must find a way to keep Tara from going to prison for conspiracy to commit murder while rebuilding his club and breaking from the cycle of violence and greed that ultimately led to his best friend’s death.

The Sharknado Sequel Has a Title - Kill Me...

Sharktards rejoice! Syfy (Feel like a horse's ass saying that; it's SCI-FI, people!) has chosen the title for the uh "much-hyped" sequel to Sharknado. After much deliberation (Translation: a Twitter contest, which is perfectly fine I'll admit; always cool to get the fans involved especially for something as niche as this), the title is Sharknado 2: The Second One.

The film premieres next July, where the buzz will have died done by then and everyone will vaguely recall how drunk they were when they said they liked it.

'Percy Jackson' Star Paloma Kwiatkowski Joins A&E's "Bates Motel" Season 2

Deadline reports that Canadian newcomer Paloma Kwiatkowski, who will be making her feature debut in the upcoming young-adult film, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, will be playing a love interest and recurring role to Freddie Highmore's Norman Bates, putting more pieces in the puzzle of Norman's anime-highschool like harem of girls such as teacherfu (Keegan Conner Tracy's Miss Watson), sickfu (Olivia Cooke's Emma DeCody), skanku (Nicola Peltz' Bradley Martin), and mommyfu (Vera Farmiga).

She will play Cody Brennan, a small town party girl who befriends Norman (Freddie Highmore) and bonds with him, showing him how having fun and “acting out” can sublimate pain – at least for awhile.

Sounds like some good stuff for us fans of A&E's Exceptional series, "Bates Motel", which acts as a prequel/reboot set in modern-day to the acclaimed 1960 Alfred Hitchcock film, PSYCHO, based on the novel of the same name by Robert Bloch.

"Bates Motel" Season 2 is now filming, and will air in 2014.

Nick Offerman Does Your Kids' Book Reports For Them

Approaching my thirties, I haven't had to worry about Summer Book Reports for years. And with school starting up (Kids around my neck-of-the-wood start Friday!?), most kids across the nation will be cramming to finish whatever book they were assigned to read but instead opted to get wasted and watch This Is the End six times.

But fear not, Nick Offerman is to rescue with his brief, but dead-on Book Reports on Jimmy Kimmel Live. I wish I had Offerman when I was in school.

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. TV Spots Range from the Cheap to the Generic

Marvel has conquered the multiplexes ten times over. So it's time they set their sights on a new goal: your plasma screen TV. There's a new show hitting the airwaves next month on ABC. You may have heard about it. Little obscure show called Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

As the premiere date approaches, the House of Ideas/Mouse is in full "Pimp their shit" mode with these two new television spots. One with Clark Gregg talking into the camera, describing the cast (Did Marvel run out of money or something?). The other is on the more generic side. Look, it's Colson! Look, there's a superhero who isn't Iron Man or Captain America! Look, ther--you get the idea.
