So, Sam Rockwell Might Be In POLTERGEIST, If You're Into That Stuff

The Wrap has learned that Sam "The best part in Iron Man 2" Rockwell is a top choice for the Sam Raimi produced upcoming remake of the horror-classic, Poltergeist.

Rockwell is currently weighing several movie offers and hasn't officially decided to take the part, though an individual familiar with the project tells TheWrap that Rockwell is now the filmmakers' top choice -- and that the actor is intrigued by the prospect of a lead role in a studio movie produced by horror maestro Sam Raimi.

Rockwell's representatives did not respond to multiple requests for comment. MGM, which is co-financing, had no comment.

On which role Rockwell would play, if it weren't obvious:

Should a deal work out, Rockwell would play the patriarch of the Bowen family -- they were the Freeling family in the original -- whose lives are uprooted when youngest daughter Madison (originally Carol Anne) is abducted by supernatural forces that trap her in the netherworld between life and death.

Poltergeist will be directed by Monster House's Gil Kenan, with a script from Oz the Great and Powerful writer David Lindsay-Abaire, and so far has Rosemarie DeWitt attatched as well.

You Could Have Had This LEGEND OF ZELDA CG Movie.

A long, long time ago, apparently Imagi studios, who made Astro Boy  and TMNT wanted to do a feature film, computer animated, based on Nintendo's wildly popular franchise, "The Legend of Zelda", which was then fresh off it's latest installment for the Nintendo Wii and GameCube, "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess".

Well the "test footage" has shown up online through the Youtubes and here's a look at Link(in Park), Ganondorf, and 'Action-Princess' Zelda.

Final Ender's Game TraileZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

If Harrison Ford doesn't even have the courtesy of staying awake for the voice-over work in this final Ender's Game trailer, why does Lionsgate expect the rest of us to care? If the Gavin Hood-directed film turns out to be good, then the joke is on us.

The Muppets Most Wanted Teaser Trailer

The teaser trailer for The Muppets Most Wanted is pretty much everything you would expect from a Muppets movie. That is a good thing as long as you have the right actors bullshitting next to Kermit, Miss Piggy and the gang. And it looks like they struck gold with Ty Burrell who is clearly having a blast.

"Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues" Brings Humor To EW Cover

Not many comedies justify a sequel but I feel like Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgundy fits into that category. Comedies are usually fairly cheap to make and even when they get roasted critically, they can still make some bank. I'm looking at you Grown Ups 2.

Really looking forward to this one, I'll have to cease my "Won't See Comedies In Theaters" motto.Check out the Entertainment Weekly Fall Preview featuring the major players of the sequel.

With the 70′s behind him, San Diego’s top rated newsman, Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell), returns to the news desk in “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.”  Also back for more are Ron’s co-anchor and wife, Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate), weather man Brick Tamland (Steve Carell), man on the street Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd) and sports guy Champ Kind (David Koechner) – All of whom won’t make it easy to stay classy…while taking New York’s first 24-hour news channel by storm.

Jobs Trailer Wants You to Know Critics Liked It

The impression I got was critics were mixed on Jobs from its Sundance premiere. Both the picture as a whole and Ashton Kutcher as the late Apple Founder didn't exactly shut the naysayers up. Analysis on Rotten Tomatoes (Flawed as their rating system is) and Metacritic back me up. The new trailer, on the other hand, says otherwise.

Kutcher still doesn't seem convincing in the presentation here. But I have to confess. That shot of him in full-on Steve Jobs mode unveiling the iPhone? That I have to see.

Diana Trailer Has That Made-For-Television Vibe

Sure to be an awards magnet for Naomi Watts, the one-sheet, tagline and initial teaser trailer for Diana presented a straight-forward biopic on Princess Diana in the latter years of her life. Not entirely untrue from the theatrical trailer presented below.

The focus on the film from Oliver Hirschbiegel (Downfall) is on the relationship between Lady Diana and Dr. Hasanat Khan (Naveen Andrews from Lost). It looks perfectly alright. Opening September 20th in the UK with no US release date in play for now (In all probability December), Diana doesn't feel like a movie meant for theatrical release.

Rumor Mill: "The Justin Bieber Guy" Might Direct Your STAR TREK 3

Another rumor trickling from the mill over at Latino-Review says that John M. Chu, who directed Justin Bieber in Never Say Never, and then directed Channing Tatum and The Rock in this summer's G.I. Joe: Retaliation, is apparently "a front-runner" for the director of the Abram-less Star Trek 3. As if having Kurtzman and Orci back wasn't bad enough.

I waited on this because I wanted to confirm this and all I got was “no comment” and another source said “he’s a contender.”

Not surprising considering Chu’s relationship with Paramount and the fact that the G.I. Joe sequel has earned $371 million to date at the global box office.

Well. If that happens, who wants to be The Rock comes on as a Klingon? or Olivia Wilde as the "Borg Queen" since we're probably contuining the nerd-pandering of Cumbersnatch as KAAAAAHN.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt's Don Jon Poster - Everyone Loves A Happy Ending

In the film, Jon Martello (Gordon-Levitt) is a strong, handsome, good old fashioned guy. His buddies call him Don Jon due to his ability to "pull" a different woman every weekend, but even the finest fling doesn't compare to the bliss he finds alone in front of the computer watching pornography. Barbara Sugarman (Scarlett Johansson) is a bright, beautiful, good old fashioned girl. Raised on romantic Hollywood movies, she's determined to find her Prince Charming and ride off into the sunset. Wrestling with good old fashioned expectations of the opposite sex, Jon and Barbara struggle against a media culture full of false fantasies to try and find true intimacy in this unexpected comedy.
