Ryan Murphy To Do It With Julia Roberts Again

According to TOLDJA! Ryan Murphy is really connecting with the suits over at Sony because they are ready to work with him again, and so his Julia Roberts. Murphy has been courted to direct Julia Roberts' next project which has yet to be titled.

Ryan is no stranger to the classy lady that we know as Julia Roberts, he worked with her on Eat, Pray, Love, which drops in theaters on August 13th. We've heard good buzz on this flick which sounds sort of like "Under The Tuscan Sun" but with more locations.

"Transformers 3" Set Pictures Never Will Go Away

Rita Wiskowski has snapped some set pictures from "Transformers 3". The pictures feature Shia being all Shia-like along with new resident eye candy Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. McDreamy also makes an appearance showing us his best "What The Fuck Is That?" pose. It's Rita Wiskowski taking your picture dude, don't get nervous.

Trailer: "It's Kind Of A Funny Story"

Yahoo Movies has released the trailer for "Its Kind Of A Funny Story" which you can view below. Opening September 24, the comedy-drama features Keir Gilchrist, Zach Galifianakis, Emma Roberts, Viola Davis, Zoe Kravitz, Aasif Mandvi, Lauren Graham and Jim Gaffigan.

In the New York City-set film, 16-year-old Craig (Gilchrist), stressed out from the demands of being a teenager, checks himself into a mental health clinic. There he learns that the youth ward is closed – and finds himself stuck in the adult ward. One of the patients, Bobby (Galifianakis), soon becomes both Craig's mentor and protégé. Craig is also drawn to another 16-year-old, Noelle (Roberts). With a minimum five days' stay imposed on him, Craig is sustained by friendships on both the inside and the outside as he learns more about life, love, and the pressures of growing up.

Taylor Lautner In "Abduction"

"Abduction" has been filming in Pittsburgh and The Daily Mail has been all over it. The persistence has paid of in the form of some pictures of Taylor Lautner of "Twilight" fame on set.

The story involves a the main character, played by Lautner, finding baby pictures of himself on a website dealing with missing persons and finding out the couple he thought were his parents have some skeletons in the closet and other plans for him.

2011 Production Start Dates

Production Weekly has revealed start dates for a number of productions via everybody's favorite social networking tool, Twitter.

- Marvel's “The Runaways” is planning a January - July 2011 shoot

- "Oz The Great And Powerful" is scheduled to begin principle photography June 2011.

- Warner Bros.' sequel to “Clash of the Titans” has a tentative start date of February 2011

I'm really looking forward to Robert Downey Jr as The Wonderful Wizard. This guy has made quite a comeback and I am loving every minute of it.

Fox Reveals Fall Premiere Dates

FOX has set the fall premiere dates for its new and returning series. The 2010-2011 season on FOX will kick off with a special premiere week beginning Monday, Sept. 20. HOUSE and the Princeton Plainsboro team return for a seventh season Monday, Sept. 20 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) followed by the series premiere of the sophisticated and provocative drama LONE STAR (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). This fall, Tuesdays feature a night of pitch-perfect comedy beginning Sept. 21 with the highly anticipated return of GLEE (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) and the series premieres of new family comedy RAISING HOPE (9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) and new romantic comedy RUNNING WILDE (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT) starring Will Arnett and Keri Russell. Friends With...A-Rod?

It goes without saying that it's been a rough week for us Yankees fans.  We ended last week with the loss of our beloved stadium announcer Bob Sheppard.  Then this morning, we lost The Boss himself, George Steinbrenner.  By the time they're back in the Bronx on Friday, more time is going to spent on memorials than on the actual game.

So this news showing up on top of all of it seemed just plain weird.  Variety is reporting that Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez will be making his big screen debut alongside Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis in Screen Gems' Friends With Benefits.

With a script by David A. Newman and Keith Merryman, Friends With Benefits follows two friends as they recover from disastrous relationships (presumably neither of them involve A-Rod's brief fling with Kate Hudson last year).  The cast also includes Woody Harrelson, Patricia Clarkson, Richard Jenkins, Jenna Elfman, Emma Stone, and Andy Samberg.

Filming begins this summer in New York.  Screen Gems confirmed that they will working around Rodriguez's schedule by only shooting his scenes on Yankees off-days.

Which they better be doing.  Alex, the Yankees are only 2 games ahead of Tampa right now.  You can be a movie star after the season.  Like your teammate Derek Jeter, who filmed his scenes for The Other Guys after the World Series last year.

So that should be interesting, I guess.  It's got a pretty big cast, so if anything it's probably just a short role in the film.  But since I'm more of a Derek Jeter fan myself, so I'm more excited for The Other Guys. 

Legends Of The Guardians Character Posters

A collection of character posters from Zack Snyders upcoming Legend of the Guardians have been released. Each has the name of what looks to be the main characters and their title and a little glimpse of the personalities.

I am not familiar with the books but when I first saw this trailer online I was really blown away with how wonderful the visuals came across and the story seems to take the viewer on an epic journey. In viewing Toy Story 3, a trailer for the film was attached and seeing it on the large screen format impressed me even more. I feel like this is going to be the one film released in 3D that can take serious steps in rivaling what was given in Avatar.  

In a related note, Comingsoon.net had a visit with Zack Snyder and were treated to some exclusive clips from the film. The description gives nothing but praise and has me all the more excited.

In conclusion, the footage looked incredible, the owls looking photo realistic down to the tiniest detail due to Snyder's notorious perfectionism as a filmmaker, and the environments just looked astounding, as they clearly spent a good amount of time developing the world from Lasky's books. We were also impressed by how fantastic the weather looked in the scenes where the owls had to fly through rain or snow. In fact, every time a clip stopped for Snyder to talk, we felt somewhat letdown that we couldn't stay in this world a bit longer.

The Fast & Furious 5 Cast gets Ludacris!

Rapper/actors Ludacris and Tyrese have signed up to re-join the Fast and Furious cast and star in the latest installment of the popular film franchise, Fast 5. They both appeared in the second film 2Fast2Furious.

Both rapper/actors recently confirmed their involvement in the movie on Twitter.

@LudaJuice:“Just landed in Puerto Rico,” he wrote. “Shooting for Fast & Furious 5 is about to be underway…”

@Tyrese4ReaL tweeted about landing in Puerto Rico. He's also shooting Transformers 3, and had to take a break from filming to begin shooting the start of Fast Five.

They'll be joining original cast members Vin Diesel and Paul Walker as well as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

I'm just wondering since they seem to be pulling out all the stops on this one, how long until it's announced that it's in 3D?
