Deathly Hallows Blu-Ray Feature: Favorite Lines

Another preview from the upcoming blu-ray release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 has surfaced, and it's a fun one.  In the clip, cast members recount the favorite lines they got to say in the eight films, followed by a clip of the actual line.  As expected, Molly Weasley's Sigourney Weaver moment in Deathly Hallows 2 was Julie Walters favorite line.  How could it not be?

Enjoy the look back in the clip below, courtesy of Snitchseeker:

That would have been a perfect extra feature if we'd found out what Evanna Lynch's favorite Luna Lovegood line was.  Maybe it will be on the blu-ray?

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 arrives on blu-ray/DVD on Friday.

Henry Cavill Talks Superman's Lack Of Underwear On Leno

Henry Cavill sat down with Jay Leno on Monday night to pimp his upcoming sword and sandal epic "Immortals". Of course the discussion turned to his role as Superman in the 2013's "Man of Steel".  The conversation lead to Superman's lack of "underwear" in the upcoming film.

Cavill: "Why wear underpants when you can be far more revealing?" Cavill quipped.

Leno: "I never got the underpants outside of the clothes anyway. ... Whatever thing you had of Superman, you lose with the underpants outside the clothes, basically."

Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows Featurette

Yahoo! Movies

Sherlock Holmes has always been the smartest man in the room... until now. There is a new criminal mastermind at large -- Professor Moriarty -- and not only is he Holmes' intellectual equal, but his capacity for evil, coupled with a complete lack of conscience, may actually give him an advantage over the renowned detective. When the Crown Prince of Austria is found dead, the evidence, as construed by Inspector Lestrade points to suicide. But Sherlock Holmes deduces that the prince has been the victim of murder -- a murder that is only one piece of a larger and much more portentous puzzle, designed by one Professor Moriarty.

Mixing business with pleasure, Holmes tracks the clues to an underground gentlemen's club, where he and his brother, Mycroft Holmes are toasting Dr. Watson on his last night of bachelorhood. It is there that Holmes encounters Sim, a Gypsy fortune teller, who sees more than she is telling and whose unwitting involvement in the prince's murder makes her the killer's next target. Holmes barely manages to save her life and, in return, she reluctantly agrees to help him. The investigation becomes ever more dangerous as it leads Holmes, Watson and Sim across the continent, from England to France to Germany and finally to Switzerland. But the cunning Moriarty is always one step ahead as he spins a web of death and destruction -- all part of a greater plan that, if he succeeds, will change the course of history.

War on Wall street!

No TMT hasn't gone political, Batman and Bane along with a lot of GCPD officers and mercs went at it on Wall Street today in what looks to be an epic battle sequence for the highly anticipated final part of Chris Nolan's Batman trilogy.

In the video there's some great looking combat between Bane and Batman after a staredown, hopefully it's edited together well in the finished movie.

Weekend Box Office: November 4-6

Courtesy of Box Office Mojo:

1.  Puss in Boots - $33 million

2.  Tower Heist - $25.1 million

3.  A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas - $13 million

4.  Paranormal Activity 3 - $8.5 million

5.  In Time - $7.7 million

6.  Footloose - $4.5 million

7.  Real Steel - $3.4 million

8.  The Rum Diary - $2.9 million

9.  The Ides of March - $2 million

10.  Moneyball - $1.9 million

What's that theory about a cat having nine lives?  Puss in Boots easily took first place again this weekend with an estimated $33 million.  The animated Shrek spinoff dropped only 3% since last week, which is the lowest percentage drop of the year.  I think it also means we can officially blame last week's freak snowstorm in the Northeast for the film's lackluster opening weekend.  At least partly, anyway.

That leaves Tower Heist in second place with a below-expectations $25.1 million.  That's not great for a Ben Stiller film, but even more embarrassing, it's actually way off from Eddie Murphy's last big opening weekend, which was the $34.2 million that (wait for it) Norbit made in 2007.  Yikes.

The stoners that did show up for A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas really liked the 3D version (I don't want to know), with 3D ticket sales making up 95% of the $13 million that made this weekend.

Paranormal Activity 3 continued to do decent post-Halloween business.  Budgeted at a reported $5 million, the prequel/threequel has grossed $172 million worldwide.  Wow.  October holdovers The Ides of March, Real Steel, and Footloose also continued to be popular choices in theaters as well.

The Oscar race continues next weekend with the release of Clint Eastwood's J. Edgar.  The Razzie race also ends next weekend with the release of Adam Sandler's Jack & Jill.  We also get a look at the new Superman Henry Cavill in action in Immortals, which opens on Friday.

Batman and Bane Battle In New York

Yesterday saw a running battle shot in New York between the GCPD and Bane's mercs, but later in the day the two main men themselves appeared and got in on the actoin.

It seems pretty clear from the pics below that this will be edited together with the fottage shot in Pittsburgh of the battle on the steps of City Hall.
