BREAKING: Bryan Cranston Isn't Against Staying Employed

Rumors circulating Bryan Cranston is a person of interest for Lex Luthor in When Clark Met Bruce..., my smart-ass title for Batman Versus Superman. Easy to see why he's on the Brothers Warner's radar (The flaming red-hot buzz of Breaking Bad as it wraps up its finale season and all those awards he racked up) and why fans always suggested him (He's bald).

Until Christian Bale accepts that blank check made to the amount of "WHATEVER THE HELL YOU WANT, PLEASE SAY YES, CHRISTIAN!" or settle on Joe Manganiello (Pure gut instinct, I feel like he will be their guy), all talk on anyone who isn't Batman will stay at radio silence. That doesn't mean Cranston himself can't give his thoughts on the matter, and "shockingly," he's not against keeping on working.

"'Give me a call,' he says with a grin. And to hear Cranston tell it, he's already given some thought as to getting into Luthor's psyche. 'I like Lex Luthor. I think he’s misunderstood. He’s a loveable, sweet man,’ Cranston says."

"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" - Capitol Couture Viral Posters

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a "Victor's Tour" of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) - a competition that could change Panem forever.

Sentinel Blueprints From "X-Men: Days of Future Past"

I am really enjoying the marketing campaign for X-Men: Days Of Future Past. I know you fellow "McFlys" feel the same way. The marketing continues via The Official Twitter Feed for the film revealing the what a Sentinel's insides look like courtesy of a blueprint from Trask Industries.

In 1973, Trask Industries introduced the first Sentinel production model, the Mark I. Bolivar Trask’s groundbreaking research in AI, robotics and autonomous ballistic systems laid the foundation for the world's most capable anti-mutant defense system. Since the program's inception, we’ve continued to advance our founder's cause through eight additional generational upgrades and enhancements.

As we celebrate five decades of achievement, we also bid farewell to regular production of the Mark I and shift our efforts to full-time manufacturing of the Mark X — our first complete overhaul of the Sentinel line. These highly anticipated units will combine next-generation nanotechnology and bioweapon breakthroughs, promising an even brighter future for the human race.

Poster For Music Documentary "Muscle Shoals"

Located alongside the Tennessee River, Muscle Shoals, Alabama is the unlikely breeding ground for some of America's most creative and defiant music. Under the spiritual influence of the "Singing River," as Native Americans called it, the music of Muscle Shoals has helped create some of the most important and resonant songs of all time. At its heart is Rick Hall who founded FAME Studios. Overcoming crushing poverty and staggering tragedies, Hall brought black and white together in Alabama's cauldron of racial hostility to create music for the generations. He is responsible for creating the "Muscle Shoals sound" and The Swampers, the house band at FAME that eventually left to start their own successful studio, known as Muscle Shoals Sound. Greg Allman, Bono, Clarence Carter, Mick Jagger, Etta James, Alicia Keys, Keith Richards, Percy Sledge and others bear witness to Muscle Shoals' magnetism, mystery and why it remains influential today.

Ron Burgundy's "Memoir" Coming This November - That's the Joke...

Alright, alright, it's one big inside joke. Many devoted fans are going to love this. It helps them get into the mood, the excitement of Anchorman: The Legend Continues opening this Christmas. I get that. But come on, fellas, does anyone really want to blow $20 on a "memoir" penned by Ron Burgundy?

The collection, titled Let Me Off at the Top! My Classy Life and Other Musings, hits bookshelves November 19, reports The New York Times. It will reportedly "share personal anecdotes about the women in his life, about his dog, Baxter, and his legendary news teams. Along the way, he'll also give sage advice on a variety of topics that matter most to him."

I'm trying my best to stay as clean as possible going into Anchorman 2's December 20th release. From here on out, I won't look at new footage (Bound to be at least 2 more trailers in the next 4 months). If I have to be the one to post it when it’s released, fine, I will. I just won't watch it. That overexposure to footage, and seeing all the gags and as-it-turned-out deleted jokes, was made me initially hate the 2004 original. Once a year or so past and that disappointment was out of the way, I came to love Anchorman for the genius it is. So I’d prefer not have that happen again.

And that includes gimmicks like a "memoir." You guys can love that all you want (and God bless if you do), but I'll pass.

Is Woody Gonna Have to Choke a Bitch?

Woody Allen as a pimp.

Visions of the iconic director telling Christopher Reeve he has a "Bad looking outf--WOOO!" or "Ga-Ga-Gata don't play no shit" play in my head as this very moment. Those gags happen to be funnier than the film Allen actually stars as a bitch-arranger, the comedy Fading Gigolo co-starring John Turturro (who also writes and directs here) as his bitch.

It even feels like an Allen film, right down to the Jazz soundtrack.

Sony Staying in the Neill Blomkamp Business

Unless overseas grosses save its ass, Elysium won't be a win for Sony. Not exactly a black eye, it's more like the financial equivalent of scraping your leg and slapping some alcohol and band-aid over it. Sony is still going to ride the bike undeterred, for now.

The studio announced this afternoon it will re-collaborate with Media Rights Capital on Neil Blomkamp’s next film Chappie. It's not new news to say Sharlto Copley stars once again for his director-pal Blomkamp. But in the wake of Elysium and one of its key faults being a less-than-compelling, let alone relatable one, lead, it's encouraging he knows the Lucky Charm he has in his District 9 star (who also played the villain in Elysium).

Additionally the existence of this project isn't a new development. Blomkamp let it be known for awhile this was next. Everything else about it was wishy-washy but now we know. It’s about a robot (voiced by Copley) implanted with A.I. and then stolen local hoods up to no good.

Don't be that person who says Blomkamp "is done" just because you didn't like Elysium. I didn't care for it either (Hard to follow-up a masterwork like District 9) but its his second film. Cut the guy some slack. It might be a failure but at least it's interesting and discussion-worthy. He is still a voice I want to hear onscreen.

Remember That Stock-Exchange Guy Who Bane Fucked Up? Yeah, He's In The Expendables 3

The Expendables 3 isn't all about Sylvester Stallone and Bruce Willis arguing like an old couple who hasn't done it since the Johnson Administration. It can be an opportunity for a fresh-faced pup still new to the fast-and-not-so-friendly-world of showbiz to break out.

Glen Powell, whose career highlight so far was Bane treating like his face like Gallagher treats watermelons in The Dark Knight Rises, has joined the cast. Guessing he takes the place of the dearly-departed (onscreen, at least) Liam Hemsworth as the Token Not-Old-Guy. He'll play a "highly trained combat veteran who is also an expert hacker and drone pilot."

Christopher Nolan's Interstellar Started Filming Today (Translation: Last Week)

Paramount Pictures and Warner Brothers would like to formally announce production on Christopher Nolan's Interstellar has begun... even though it really stated last week. They sent out a purdy press release (which you can read below) and everything. So you know they mean business.

Since Nolan is the king of keeping productions factory-sealed (Something J.J. Abrams has turned into a fetish), this is probably the last thing we'll officially hear from them ‘till next year, barring leaks (Nolan has been known to send out fake Intel, trust me) or most likely set pictures of Nolan sipping on a cup of tea between setups or Anne Hathaway scratching her ass.

Until then, all we can do is speculate.

"Paramount Pictures, a division of Viacom, Inc., and Warner Bros. Pictures announced today that principal photography on 'INTERSTELLAR' is officially underway in Alberta, Canada. The film will be released in IMAX® and 35mm theaters on November 7, 2014. Paramount Pictures will distribute domestically, Warner Bros. Pictures internationally.

Directed and co-written by Christopher Nolan ('Inception,' 'The Dark Knight' Trilogy), the production will travel the globe and utilize a mixture of 35mm anamorphic and IMAX film photography to bring to the screen a script based on the combination of an original idea by Nolan and an existing script by Jonathan Nolan, originally developed for Paramount Pictures and producer Lynda Obst. The new script chronicles the adventures of a group of explorers who make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage.

'INTERSTELLAR' features a prestigious cast that includes Matthew McConaughey ('Magic Mike,' 'Mud'), Academy Award® winner Anne Hathaway ('Les Miserables,' 'The Dark Knight Rises'), Academy Award® nominee Jessica Chastain ('Zero Dark Thirty,' 'The Tree of Life'), Bill Irwin ('Rachel Getting Married,' TV's 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation') Academy Award® nominee John Lithgow ('Terms of Endearment,' 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes') Academy Award® nominee Casey Affleck ('The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford,' 'Gone Baby Gone'), David Gyasi ('Cloud Atlas'), Wes Bentley ('The Hunger Games'), Mackenzie Foy ('The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Parts 1 and 2') Timothée Chalamet (TV's 'Homeland'), Topher Grace ('Spider-Man 3'), David Oyelowo ('Jack Reacher,' 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes'), Academy Award® winner Ellen Burstyn ('The Last Picture Show,' 'The Exorcist'), and Academy Award® winner Michael Caine ('The Cider House Rules,' 'The Dark Knight' Trilogy).

The film is being produced by Academy Award® nominee Emma Thomas ('Inception,' 'The Dark Knight' Trilogy) and Lynda Obst ('How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days,' 'The Siege'). Renowned theoretical physicist Kip Thorne is consulting on the film as well as serving as executive producer, along with Jake Myers ('Jack Reacher,' 'RED,' 'RED 2') and Jordan Goldberg ('Inception,' 'The Dark Knight' Trilogy).

The behind-the-scenes creative team includes director of photography Hoyte van Hoytema ('Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy,' 'The Fighter'), Academy Award®-nominated production designer Nathan Crowley ('The Dark Knight' Trilogy), Academy Award®-nominated costume designer Mary Zophres ('Gangster Squad,' 'True Grit') Academy Award®-nominated editor Lee Smith ('The Dark Knight' Trilogy,” 'Elysium,'), Academy Award®-winning composer Hans Zimmer ('The Lion King,' 'The Dark Knight' Trilogy), and Academy Award®-winning visual effects supervisor Paul Franklin ('Inception,' 'The Dark Knight' Trilogy)."

Five New Stills & Poster From "Parkland"

Recounting the chaotic events that occurred in Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963, Parkland weaves together the perspectives of a handful of ordinary individuals suddenly thrust into extraordinary circumstances: the young doctors and nurses at Parkland Hospital; Dallas' chief of the Secret Service; an unwitting cameraman who captured what became the most watched and examined film in history; the FBI agents who nearly had the gunman within their grasp; the brother of Lee Harvey Oswald, left to deal with his shattered family; and JFK's security team, witnesses to both the president's death and Vice President Lyndon Johnson's rise to power over a nation whose innocence was forever altered.
