First Footage from Green Lantern is now online!

The first actual footage from Warner Bros and Martin Campbell's Green Lantern is now online! Entertainment tonight has released a preview to their Green Lantern world premiere being aired on Tuesday. As of right now you can watch a spoiler  free 30 seconds from the film. The footage includes the still pretty damn gay CGI suit and as expected the charismatic and always sarcastic Ryan Reynolds.

The first full trailer will also be released this Friday with part 1 of the end the Harry Potter franchise. I'll reserve my full real opinion until the actual trailer is released, but as of right now I'm still not all that enthusiastic about it.

I also have a feeling the planned release of the ET world premiere and first trailer for Green Lantern may have played a part in the lack of actual announcements or news concerning The Dark Knight Rises and The Man of Steel. Being that both Batman and Superman are the largest properties under Warner Bros belt they may have held off on revealing too much at risk of the news overshadowing Green Lantern. Regardless I would expect a lot more from Green Lantern leading up to next summers release and maybe if we're lucky a teaser trailer for either TDKR and/or MOS in front of GL, fingers crossed.

Green Lantern is being released in 3D on June 17, 2011.

"Bubba's World" Season 2 Trailer

"Bubba's World" is a ten-episode docu-reality series about the number one motocross racer in the world, James "Bubba" Stewart, and his unique situation.  At age 24, he is not only one of the highest paid riders pulling in over $10 million a year, but also the only African American to dominate in an all-white sport -- often referred to as the Tiger Woods of motorcross.  Just last year (2009), he completed a perfect motocross season -- 24 wins in 24 races. Riveting and entertaining, this season is one of the most revealing behind-the-scenes look into professional motorsports.

"Thrillbillies" Season 3 Trailer

“Thrillbillies” is from the producers of MTV’s hit series “Nitro Circus”; an unscripted all-action series that follows a wily crew of athletes and stuntmen who test the laws of logic through a series of entertaining mishaps and mayhem. Each episode is pure fun as Cam, Crum, and the rest of the Thrillbillies live out their inner Evel Knievel.

Whether it’s chaining two cars back-to-back and ripping them apart, jumping snowmobiles into a lake, or riding in a giant hamster ball down a sand dune and off a jump, the Thrillbillie concept of adventure is unique, to say the least.  A Thrillbillie doesn’t act or think like a normal person. The motto is:  The wrong way of doing something is often more fun.

Season  3 of “Thrillbillies” will be premiering on Wednesday, December at 10pm ET/PT on FUEL TV.

"Season Of The Witch" Poster & Trailer

A noble knight battles a wicked witch in a bid to save humanity from an ancient evil in this supernatural thriller starring Nicolas Cage and Ron Perlman. Upon returning to his home in Europe, crusading knight Behmen (Cage) finds his faith beginning to falter due to the brutality he's witnessed on the battlefield. The Black Plague has decimated the countryside, forcing Behmen and his loyal companion, Felson (Perlman), to seek sustenance and supplies at the Palace of Marburg. They're weary from war, but they're about to discover that their struggle is just beginning. Commanded by the moribund Cardinal to deliver a suspected witch to the abbey where her powers can be abolished, Behman accepts the assignment under the condition that the young peasant girl will receive a fair trial. The church believes the girl to be the one responsible for the Black Plague, and they may be right, too. As the two men and a small group of chaperones set out on their arduous mission, they quickly realize that their young charge is something more than human, and that they're about to face an evil beyond human comprehension.

The Dark Knight Rises Being Shot Entirely in Imax?

It seems as though the rumour mill just keeps on spinning as of lately when it comes to the final installment of Christopher Nolans' Batman trilogy.

The latest and one that's made its rounds since the release of The Dark Knight was the possibility of Nolan shooting the entire third film (The Dark Knight Rises) in IMAX format. As you may remember key scenes including the opening bank robbery in TDK were shot in IMAX and Nolan specifically expressed a keen interest to work with the format again while doing press for the film.

The rumour first made gained momentum online back in April of this year when Wally Pfister told MTV he wasn't at all a fan of the new 3D craze in the slew recent Hollywood blockbusters (thankfully not being used for TDKR), and he would much rather prefer to shoot the entire third Batman film in IMAX.

“I can’t say until I read the script, but it would certainly be my preferred, amazing goal to shoot the whole movie in IMAX… Chris [Nolan]‘s films are so densely layered and have so much going on visually in every way that IMAX helps enhance that because of the scope and the scale of it – it becomes a much larger canvas to paint on.”

Now according to one of Collider's trusted sources Pfsiter may get his wish after all. As per Collider:

I’m hearing that Nolan will try and shoot The Dark Knight Rises totally in IMAX.  I’ve heard that IMAX has been quietly developing a smaller, less intrusive camera that will be able to handle dialogue scenes.  If the camera is finished in time, expect Nolan to use it.

How awesome could this somewhat revelation/rumour be if proven true, very! Way to kick 3D in the ass team Nolan! I can't speak for all batfans, but I personally dreaded the thought of a 3D release; whether it be post-converted or shot directly in 3D, the idea sounded like all around shit to me. The thought of the definitive and current Batman trilogy concluding with an entire Imax presentation has MY mind already fully fucked, and blown. Fingers crossed that they can make it happen.

Time for Something Sweet

There's just too much adorable going on here to put into words, but the most exciting part about the new trailer for Disney's Winnie the Pooh is seeing a return to traditional animation for this big-screen return to the Hundred Acre Wood:

Winnie the Pooh features the voices of Jim Cummings as Pooh and Tigger, Craig Ferguson as Owl, Tom Kenny (aka: Spongebob Squarepants) as Rabbit, and Peter Cullen as Eeyore.  It arrives in theaters July 15, 2011.

Plenty of Name-Actresses Up for The Dark Knight Rises

It's become an unwritten rule for comic-book tentpoles. Someone is going to pull out a list of finalists, usually for the lead role like what happened on Captain America and the Spider-Man reboot. Hell, Peter was just saying last night how we hadn't gotten one for Superman yet.

"TOLDJA" has thrown up a list of actresses Christopher Nolan will soon meet with for The Dark Knight Rises – Anne Hathaway (Funny, I had her more pegged for Superman and remember when she was up for Spider-Man 4), Keira Knightley (I thought she said she was done with blockbusters after the shit stench from those Pirates of the Caribbean sequels?), Blake Lively (She just did Green Lantern and there's always the chance of her appearing in a hypothetical sequel), Natalie Portman (We've already heard those Superman whispers from Movie Hole), Naomi Watts and Rachel Weisz.

They're said to be up for two roles – the love interest for Bruce Wayne (He needs lovin' since Rachel Dawes turned to dust) and a villain. Like Catwoman, perhaps?

Jon Hamm Talks Superman On "Conan" UPDATED

Once again the dashing Jon Hamm was on a talk show, this time "Conan", and once again he was asked about the possibility of strapping on the famous red cape for an upcoming Superman film.

Of course Hamm shrugged the question off with a number of jokes pointing to a geriatric Superman as he had when asked on "Jimmy Fallon" and "Regis and Kelly". His first reaction was "...everybody wants a middle-age Superman". He then started dropping jokes about Superman parking in handicap spots among other barbs.

Hamm is not flat out denying the report of The Brothers Warner being interested in him which was first reported Right Here On TMT, but he sure is deflecting.

I'm not saying Jon Hamm will be sporting an \S/ on his chest come 2012, or that he is even on the radar any longer, but he sure looked Supermanish tonight.

Check out the full interview below.
